I reached 40mph on my Evercross Scooter, I tested the top speed without being on it (lifting back tire off ground and it went to 50mph), also I am heavy guy at 230lbs, I added a seat with back rest and it's funny to see an older guy like me cruising as fast as traffic almost but I can't afford these bikes in this video, the Evercross was under $1000

Yea to add to the guy at 5:26....You have to watch out for the ladies texting. I've been hit by 3 women all 3 on their phones. One the cops had to hunt down because she drove off after she hit me and my hip and clavicle got dislocated. Now I've got at least 2 GoPros going on record while riding near roads. I actually now take any less traveled road I can find even if it's a couple miles out of the way to be safer. I also watch better who is coming up behind me and really pay attention to how close they are as they're coming up to me and move accordingly. I also got a few sets of LEDs(front, back and side)blinking at all times while riding. It can save your life. Here in most of New England we don't have bike lanes(especially northern NE)so it's SUPER sketchy. And as I know first hand, dangerous. And I'm not even counting how many times vehicle mirrors have clipped me or people started to drift into me while driving next to me biking. And most times I can see their phone screens on....Some days I get angry but I'm a pretty zen guy and usually super stoned so I usually just let it go. But some days....

The top speed of the grizzly is not effected by weight. The motor has a maximum RPM, and it is close to 37 mph.

@@SHREDDIEMCSKATE I've had a 110lb 15yo ride my grizzly v2, and he topped out at the same speed as me. On downhills you can hear the motors stop assisting between 35 and 40 mph. It is similar to how the Radrunner 1 motors peak at 24.5 mph, even if you up the watts from 750w to 1500w.

@@recklessthor4 that is always the case with ebikes. Less weight, less rolling resistance, less wattage used. But its is not as significant as you might think. When I go camping with my ebike, I bring 30lb of gear, but my range only drops by about a mile. The bigger factor is how you use the wattage. So if you went full throttle up a hill vs using just PAS 1 up a hill, you would get up faster with throttle, but you would use close to 2x the wattage in that period of time. (3kwh for 1 min vs 750wh for 3min. 50wh used vs 30wh used on the hill. Assuming you go 25mph up the hill in full throttle vs 8mph at 750w)

Never gonna buy from Ariel Rider again! Purchased one of their bikes from them and two years later when I needed a new battery for it they claim they don't sell them anymore. So I'm stuck with a totally useless bike. They suggested I try to contact the battery manufacturer and have them make me one. Can you imagine how much that would cost? May as well get a new bike. Stay away. Very poor support. Even more, their website says they are "out of stock" of batteries for their new line of bikes. Beware.
