A few months ago I was grieving deeply and would wake up every morning crying. I started listening to Omar Hesham's morning dua every morning and felt so held and comforted. Then ultimately I started praying my salaat. Allah SWT has healed my heart. I still feel sad from time to time of course, this is natural and part of life and grieving a loss, but Allah SWT and His love and support has helped ease the suffering. I am no longer despairing, Alhamdulillah. Islam truly is the religion of peace. You will gain peace in your heart Insha'Allah. Watching this couple get closer and closer to Islam has been such a joy and I am excited to see them take their Shahadda. If you're truly looking for God, you will find Him in Islam, Insha'Allah.

This is because the message was always monotheism but it got lost so God sent a final messenger to renew the message of monothiesm. Islam is truth with proof. Not blind faith. Keep all that love you have for Jesus, in fact you get to follow his teachings as a Muslim, but remember he was a messenger messiah sent by God. Not literal God which is blasphemy.

Saying that "god had" to is wrong, brother. Allah doesn't need anything. He sent the final message because he wanted. And he knew that people would corrupt previous scriptures such as Bible and Torah. Allah is All-knowing, and the Most-wise.

Bro. It is just a trivial terminology issue. Also, Qur’an is healing, great. But probably not the type of healing you guys think about. Healing here is a metaphor for guidance, why do people keep taking things too literally? There are tons of verses in the Qur’an with multiple uses of linguistic features, and metaphors are among one of those features. It is important to understand the multitude of these uses of linguistic features, so we can read the Qur’an to extract the wisdom and guidance from it, and apply them to our life. The exact opposite of that should be avoided, which is to mystify it and in the process downgrade its value, from guidance to a mere placebo-effect medicine. Qur’an is much more than that. Reciting Qur’an for biological healing purposes may actually be closer to the work of Jahiliyah people, as they believed in paganism and mysticism, the exact two things that Islam tried SO HARD to fight against. Ironically now, a lot of muslims mystify Islamic teachings and become the very things that Islam try to eradicate. Reciting the Qur’an and listening to the beautiful recitations are of course encouraged, but mystifying those recitations is not. Qur’an is a guidance. That is my whole point.
@ttlvbt6 ай бұрын
If we can’t take the Quran literally then what are we supposed to do? You come across just like the Christian’s who interpret there books to what suits them 🤦♂️
@ginsan81986 ай бұрын
@@GLOVENT 1) You asked: "Why didn't Allah specified there that its only healing of the spirit or "Rooh" and not of the body?" --> My response: Because probably God wants us to "think", and not just wait everything to be fed on us. There are so many verses in the Qur'an that challenge humanity to think. Qur'an chapter 6, verse 50: "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Then will you not give thought?" 2) You mentioned Q.S. chapter 17, verse 82: "And We send down of the Qur’ān that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss." --> My response: The word "healing" there does not indicate "healing for everything". If you read the whole verse and try to understand the context, you will see that next to the word healing we have "mercy", and then it continues to talk about "the believers". When we put all of those information in context, it seems that the message of that verse is about "cure for the heart of the believers", because when believers hear the words of Allah, their faith will increase, as if they receive "mercy" from God. Please read the Qur'an in its full contexts. 3) You said: ".... not everything has been said by Allah in paradoxical terms." --> My response: I agree, but we need to understand the background first. It is simplified in Qur'an chapter 3 verse 7: "It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allāh. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding." Please not that in that verse, there are two types of verses: The precise ones (such as verses about laws and the oneness of God), and the "unspecific" ones, which may have multiple interpretations. Then the Qur'an further states that some people would twist these unspecific verses to match their own interpretations, but God is the only one who knows them. It means that even when we try to interpret God's words, we must not rely on our own fixated logic, or even twist them to match our own agenda. This may include the word about "healing" power in Qur'an. Why do many people interpret it as healing for body, and not healing for the soul instead, even though the verse seems to clearly indicate that it is actually talking about the soul, by mentioning "mercy" and "the believers"? Where did this interpretation came from? Well, it may come from people who have their own deviated agenda, or people who are too lazy to try to understand the Qur'an in its full contexts. Wallahualam. 4) You said: "The way you're thinking is exactly how the Christians think." --> My response: Be careful, as you may enter the realm of bias and hoaxes, here. Hoaxes are one of the things that Islam clearly hates. The Qur'an says: "... and fitnah (hoax) is worse than killing" (Q.S. 2:191). Of course, the phrase "worse than killing" is also a linguistic style, a metaphor to showcase how dangerous hoax is. That is why, when some information come to you, or when you want to say some things, please verify. The Qur'an says "O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful." (Q.S.: 49:6). In addition, I am not following the christians' logic, but in fact, it is the total opposite. I believe in the words of God, but I don't always believe in my own interpretations, let alone other people's interpretations. However, I try to think. That is why, the Qur'an is for people who think. Read: Q.S. 22:46, and Q.S. 2: 269, for some references about the importance of thinking among countless other similar verses in the Qur'an. 5) You said: "Being Muslims, we believe in the Prophets sent by Allah though we never met them, Angels of Allah though we can't see them , Hell and Heaven created by Allah though we have never seen them and everything that Allah has told us to believe in , whether its visible or hidden." --> My response: I agree that as muslims/believers, we must believe, and I do believe in God, the prophets, the holy books, etc. However, please do not take this concept out of context. When God tells us to believe, it is not just about "believing without seeing". Of course that is also part of faith. However, belief system has more layers to it. One may become a believer because they find a strong resonance between their moral structures and the words of God. That is why, in its early times, the first people who accepted Islam were mostly those who were oppressed (such as slaves and women), because in their hearts, they knew that oppression towards them was wrong, and then God words came and actually verified what was in their hearts all along. One of the best examples is Bilal, as you may have already known. One could also become a believer when their rationale resonates with the words of God. That is why many muslims were actually reverts who embraced Islam after learning that Islam was much more in line with scientific discoveries, or at least with rational thinking. In fact, the prophet Ibrahim found the truth after asking a lot of questions about the nature of the world. One may also become a believer if their actions resonate with the words of God. For example, if you know that giving to the poor is the right thing to do, then such action is actually validated by the words of God, then it will not be difficult for you to accept the words of God and become one of the believers. This is why, "believing" is so much more multi-layered, it has its emotional, spiritual, and rational aspects, and ALL of them need to be one complete set. One cannot simply ignore their rationale just because they are drowned in their spirituality. If that is the case, then such person would not be too different from people who practiced paganism before the prophet Muhammad brought Islam. Those pre-Islamic people also "believed" in a form of entity beyond themselves that they called "God". They clearly possessed some level of "spirituality", but would you call those people the true believers? No. Even thought they have got the spiritual aspect, they lack the rational aspect of a religion, thus they worshipped statues and things that could not bring them harm nor benefits. Conclusion: Don't you understand where I am coming from? I am just trying to remind people about what it means to be a believer. After this, whatever you believe, I am not responsible for it.

Notice how the one repetitive verse "which of the favours of your Lord will you Deny" stays in context as we move from one contrasting topic to the next in the Surah. Notice how Allah SWT in this Surah only hits the topic of punishment once then layers it with repetitive mention of rewards akin to a mother, rebuking her child (for his/her own good) but then immediately showering her naturally displaced affection

There is a reason why ALLAH azza wa jal repeat the verse "Which blessing of your Lord will you deny?" multiple times in this surah, just count by yourself which blessing of our Lord which we took for granted? The air that we breath, foods and drinks we consume every single day, our family, our neighbour and everything around us has been given by ALLAH azza wa jal for free.

The greatest denial is not worshipping The Creator Allah. The purpose of The Speach of Allah is not so much in the beauty, but in its meaning and understanding and acting by entering into the Religion of Islam hole heartly. By say that I bear witness that Allah is Alone with no partners and that Muhammad is The Messenger of Allah and Jesus is a Prophet of Allah and not the son of Allah. My family ask me what made me leave Christianity for Islam. I explained that it was Christianity. I couldn't understand our parents Adam and Eve being sent down from Paradise to Earth for sinning and Jesus dieing for my sins to go to Heven. So I was being rewarded for sinning. So yes it was important for me ( us ) to seek the truth. We are in need of the truth, the truth is not in need of us 💯 ❤...!
@mohdfarhan52555 ай бұрын
@@safwatabdussalaam2494yes their concept of Adam eating from the tree is the sole reason for human being sent down to earth is stupid and inconsiderate. In Islam, Adam has always been destined to be the leader on Earth, even lead the jinn (which made Iblis jealous), no matter if he succeed or failed the 'tree' test. The test also remind Adam and his children that Iblis will always be enemy although he act like a friend.

"Between them is a barrier, so they do not transgress." These verses highlight the natural phenomenon where two bodies of water, such as saltwater and freshwater, meet but do not mix, which can be seen in certain places worldwide. It serves as a reminder of the perfection in Allah's creation.

An interesting thought I always had was flowers and fruits. Who if we aren't here to smell its beautiful scent? Who can taste and distinguish between the flavors of the fruit?? Who is to observe and recognise the beauty of life? Value will only exist when there is a conscience that acknowledges it. Moreover, this i've heard somewhere and its like, look at your face, you have eyebrows above your eyes to protect you from sweat. Your nose is above your mouth so you can smell the food before eating it. Everything is perfect for us and we take it for granted! Another great reaction video folks.
