The fact that she was snubbed for her role as Anne Lister in Gentleman Jack still vexes me. I mean Suranne was brilliant in all her projects but in Gentleman Jack, she knocked that role out of the park and then some. It's blasphemous that the show didn't get more accolades *and* was cancelled after a mere 2 seasons.

I am really happy about all Suranne's accomplishments. I do have a feeling though that she is so busy that she might not have the time or energy to continue with Gentleman Jack.

The juriy should have nominated SJ for lead actress (I Am Victoria) rather than the show for best single drama. Her work in the show is out of this world, but the show itself is not best of its category.
