Thanks for the update. I still have not be able to purchase any skates online. I would be considered a beginner since I haven't skated since I was a kid and now I am in my late 40's and I would probably not be skating as rough as you. I know you recommend these, but I really would like to know you opinion the RollerDerby Driftr or the Sure Grip Boardwalk because I would like a quality boot.

Hello, I have a new skate comparison video coming out Sunday on some new skates I got. I just watched a couple videos on the drifter, it seems like an ok skate, I'm surprised that you can get a suede boot for $100 dollars. I'm not sure how good a suede boot will hold up outside, I think it would be fine for indoor use. I noticed the wheels are ok but the bearing are very poor quality. You might want to switch the bearings out for ABEC5 or Bonz bearings. The biggest problem I had with the sure grip where the eyelets. I also heard some people with the suede boot had eyelets pop out also. Which is why I went with the Riedell boot this time. Please subscribe so you don't miss the new review 👍🏽.
