I have never seen anything like this but could so see how these would help when pulling my hair back into a ponytail. I use the human hair ponytail scrunchies when pulling my hair back because of how little hair I have but its so confident when in a hurry or just wanting to run to the store real quick etc. So yeah…. These would def help cover the thin spots I have when pulling my hair back. I will def be trying them! Thank you so much for your videos Denise! Oh my gosh that is exactly how I use these fibers before I discovered wigs! I would pull my hair up into a pony and use one of those fake hair scrunches to give it volume and with the fibers on top you couldn't tell I was thinning! I hope you love them! They do take some practice but you'll get it!

Hi Denise!! I am a hair fiber lover!! I have every color! I think it takes a few tries to get the right color. The darker fibers worked better for me. The light blonde never worked for me!! But I think it could be used to cover up some wefting on a wig!! Thanks for sharing!!

I have used Caboki fibers and they also have an applicator. I have not used it yet but I will now that I see it works better than shaking. The fibers are much improved over Topic Thanks for all you do for us on this journey.

It looks great! I’ve thought of going this route in the summertime. However, I wonder if my hair is too thin for this. My scalp is very visible throughout. I’m not sure if it would sink down onto my scalp and look obvious.

I can't really speak to that because I don't know what your hair looks like, but my hair is incredibly thin on the very top. There are some places that it is much more scalp than hair. If you would like to send me a picture of the top of your head I would be happy to consider how it compares to mine and give you my best opinion. Obviously I can't say for sure, but I have a fair amount of experience with a product like this so I should be able to give you at least a good estimate of how I think it would work.

I saw your email about the colors, I message them to just ask what they recommend. Or if they have something in the works. I noticed that Toppik powder now has an applicator similar to this so that could be a good route to go since you did find white in that 1.

Sweet Denise how did I originally miss this video. I can’t get over how similar our hair loss pattern is. I too used Toppik for about 15 yrs before wigs. I’m thinking of trying this but I think I have PTSD from Toppik! By the end I was practically dumping 1/2 the can on my head trying to cover my baldness🥹 However, these fibers along with the applicator has me intrigued!

Me, too!! SERIOUSLY! I used Toppik for 20 years prior to wigs and was so done with it!! I was tired of the fibers getting on everything, and they kind of irritated my head as well. These, so far, don't irritate it and that applicator is GOLD! It seriously makes all the difference in getting the fibers on my head and not on every surface of my bathroom. Here is the thing, though, and something I think is important and I probably should make a video about.... I stopped using Toppik and went to wigs because my hairloss had gotten so bad that it wasn't really working anymore. At the time I never even considered cutting my hair because #1 I didn't think I would look good with short hair and #2 I didn't have a plan B if that didn't help. Well... now that I have short hair I am realizing that fibers WILL work for me again, but I don't think they will if I were to grow my hair out because it is simply too thin.... you can't see how thin it is when it is short with the fibers... that was a long way to say that if you have longish hair you might find that these don't work much better than Toppik... I like them better because of what they are made of and the applicator but I think that overall they work similarly to Toppik as far as coverage. Fibers can hide the scalp and give a little sense of thickness, but if hair is long it can't cover the long strands to make THOSE thicker....Does that make sense?

@@heywigsister totally makes sense. I had the same exact experience w Toppik except I’ve always had short hair😳so even w short hair toppik stopped working for me. I just got too sparse on top and on the sides. But I’m thinking w a stretchy head band fibers could work again. I am inspired by the applicator.

In my country I can not get the aplicator into the fiber box, so I am useing Batiste dry shampoo instead.

It really is a great option for people with a certain level of thinning. I think because my hair is so short right now it looks a lot more realistic, but my hair did get too thin to really use this effectively when it was longer because you could tell how thin it was at the lengths.

Just got the starter kit, Denise. Will try it out tomorrow when I have some peace and quiet. Question though.... You mention that you don't wash your hair every night - neither do I. Yours is very short, but mine is almost shoulder length. Can you run a comb through it at all the next morning for styling, or will that totally knock out all the fibers? I can't just get up and go after sleeping on my hair, I have to do a bit of styling, lol.... Thanks for any info! Iris

Hi Denise…..I was curious if you knew of a thickening/volumizing product that I can use on my actual synthetic or heat friendly wigs. I tried dry shampoo to try giving the top of my wigs some extra volume, but not a fan of how it leaves a white coating on the wigs. I am also not a fan of permatease, so looking for something to volumize near the part and top of my wig for wigs that are thin at the top. It looks great and I was wondering if you can send me a link for it or tell me how I can find it online. I am a larger person and so many shirts I buy have their neckline made too big. I actually did a review on these tank tops! I've been debating about whether or not to actually post it, but I bought these tanktops on Amazon and I absolutely love them! I literally have purchased them in every single color. Here is a link to them and your question has confirmed for me that I should post the review. amzn.to/3QArfPV Something to note, the listing says they run small and to size up, but they only come in one size. I am a plus sized girl and I normally wear a size 16 or 2XL, and they fit me snug but really comfortable and since I wear them as a base layer under shirts it doesn't matter that they're tight on me. As a matter of fact I like them tight when I wear them under my shirts. I think they hold me in just a little bit as well. But if you want to know more about that you can wait for my review hopefully I'll get it out in the next few days here.

I love fibers but my natural hair color is a blend of so many different colors (ash blonde, strawberry blonde, light brown, grey, cream blonde, etc.) that I haven't been able to find any fibers that come close to it and they're just really obvious. Also 6-7 months of the year here are very hot and sweaty and I have to be very careful with any hair "additions" from wigs to fibers, they really aren't made for wearing in our extreme climate. 🙁

I had that problem with my bio hair back in the day when I used fibers regularly and I ended up having to color my hair with box hair color to make it easier for me to blend. Oh the things we do to hide our thinning hair, lol.

Do you find it easier to use on your buzzed hair compared to when you used it on your longer hair. I feel it would be easier to apply on shorter styles. The after shot looks good, l would have liked to see the sides and back too.

Oh, as for whether or not it is easier with a buzzed head, I really don't think so. Since my hair is thinning all around I have to work a lot harder to cover the thinning when it is short, but when I had longer hair I didn't have to be perfect with my placement of it because my hair would cover some of the areas with its length.

My hair came out around my ears up the sides of my head will it stick to the sides good ? I wear glasses to I've never seen any one else with hair loss like mine . Dr really didn't know what caused it even biopsy just showed inflammation. Really didn't mean to go in to all that sorryjust wondering how good it would stay on sides abovementioned ears . I’m guessing you style your hair first if you use any kind of mousse etc?

Yes, exactly. Style your hair and get it situated how you want it, then apply the fibers and then the fiber hold spray (or a hair spray)... the spray is important because it will lock them in and they won't move around. I had one women told me that when she uses the spray the fibers do not even come off on her pillow...I find that very interesting and have been meaning to test that out as I am not always great about using the spray. If that actually works I will be so impressed!
