Surf Fishing in North Carolina - Giant Drum & Sharks

In this episode of BlacktipH, we go beach fishing for Redfish and Sharks in North Carolina. Jake got a call from our good friend Travis saying that there's a hot bite off the beach in the Outer Banks. Jake flew up, and they went straight to the beach to put out baits at sunrise. Immediately Jake hooked up to a giant redfish, fought him to the shore, and released him; this was Jake's largest drum fish ever! The rest of the morning mainly consisted of sandbar sharks after that. Jake and Travis decided to change spots at midday and go further south. They landed a few more nice redfish and sharks to end the fishing trip.

Excellent fishing, it is the one that I like the most, the one from the coast and more with light equipment, that is to say with frontal reels as you did and you friend, it is more challenging, more subtle and you must know how to do it with craftsmanship, sometimes from boats they are coarser. I know they were fighting the insane weather we have been having in NC . Rodanthe lost a home into the ocean. The OBX famous NC12 was closed for days while being submerged. lost cable power, internet. phone. those crazy nor easters with king tides can tear stuff up!
