I know right! He must've thought there was a 200# Halibut on there. Looking forward to it.

Appreciate the mention looks like you had fun!the extreme high and super low tides make catching halibut more difficult the smaller the tides the better. Our favorite is Ninilchik if you can cast 100 yards you can hit flats. Better luck next time maybe some time you can come to Seward and we can use Drones to drop baits &?shoot a video. nice video love the Family aspect, of your video that’s what it is about Tight lines

Thank you much. We tried to find the beach area in Ninilchik, turns out we had but turned back. Next time for sure. Would love to catch up with you some time. I'll reach out the next time we're going and see if our schedules line up. Have a great week!

Looked like a great experience…both the fishing and the sketchy drive down to the gulch 😳.

It was a lot of fun. Crappy weather and weird fish but fun all the same.

Hi guys love watching your videos from my home in Australia all our family holidays and outings revolve around the beach so it’s great getting a glimpse of Alaska and your channel has the best commentary I giggled a few times but the best line is “Phyllis is casting out so Syd is running for his life “ 🐨🐨🐨

Looks like a fun time. Hope you feel better soon. Nothing is worse than being sick and not sleeping.

Thanks Tony. It sure does work. Needs a few tweeks here and there but so far so good.

Hi Adam and Phyllis! No sleep and not feeling good is always a bummer. The views were amazing! Sorry to hear no halibut were caught for the freezer. Looked like a great experience to camp and fish right next to the ocean. Another great video!

Good to see you, so to speak. Yup. All is well just very busy all during the week and the weekends here lately. Hoping all is well with you!

Are those fish good for eating???...o just catch and release???
@alaskacutthecord7694 ай бұрын
I've heard that they're ok to eat but it just doesn't seem right to kill an old fish for such a tiny amount of meat. We just release them.

I can catch Irish Lord's with the best of them. I'm still trying to find a good halibut spot in my area as well.great to get out and do some camping and fishing

Not sure I'd brag about that! Just kidding. We think we found one of those as well. Gonna try after dipnet season.

Never heard of Irish Lord fish, but have eaten rock fish in California. Sorry you got sick on you2trip.
@alaskacutthecord7693 ай бұрын
Yeah, they don't even swim as much as they crawl around on the bottom. Yellow Eye rockfish on the other hand are delicious!

You needed a Whiskey gulp at the gulch, might have helped your throat and getting to sleep. Those Rock fish, man... talk about having an ugly stick used on you!! Hope you are feeling better and always good to see what you guys are up to.
