Nice video! This is why I love your channel, always having fun and I learn a lot from you. I have not caught or even fished specifically for pike before but if ever I do now I will know how to process it. Spent the last three days trout fishing and was just telling my friends that I want to use a mouse fly. They never heard of such a thing and had no idea that fish will eat mice. Nice catches by the way.

Thanks for watching. Fishing has become second nature here for us lately. Seems like all we do but that's about to change. Using a mouse fly is really common for rainbow trout here and I think I should try it for Northern Pike as well.

@@alaskacutthecord769 lol ive caught a 3’+ long pike with a 2’ long SheeFish with the sheefish’s tail sticking out into the pike’s mouth. Not sure why the pike was still biting, he couldnt even finish his last meal. 😂

Morning !!! Nice catch & fillet technique. I now know how to fillet a pike! In Florida have a fish called Jacks. Generally run in schools. They a bone line down middle of fillet to cut out also. Blue fish has a red blood looking meat to cut out.
