And with that, 2023 is over. But we are finishing the year stronger than ever! 🥳
Congratulations to ALL the winners of this year’s Surf in the City: The 4th Visayas Surfing Cup 2023.
Winners, relish on your win! You shone through your intense heats and fought your way to the top even in complex wave conditions. The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory. 😉 This accomplishment is just one step on your journey and we are all incredibly proud of your achievements! 🏆
To all the competitors, you were all put to the test in this competition and your efforts and sacrifices weren’t in vain. Levelling up your game in surfing is already a huge accomplishment. Be proud and applaud yourselves, you didn’t give up to the pressure of competiting and you all made it through the end. What an incredible feat! Laban ulit sa susunod. 🤙🏽
The hard-working Technical Crew. You were the foundation that made our 3-day event a success. To setting up the tents and event area, to setting up all the systems needed, to bringing up the liveheats and operating the cameras for our live broadcast and photographers. Kudos to you all! And to our distinguished Judges and Contest Director, Thank you! Your professionalism, expertise and guidance have been very valuable to the whole team and to the whole event. 🤙🏽
And to our Partners and Sponsors, the competition wouldn’t be a success without your support. All your contributions help made a HUGE difference to all the athletes and the winners of our event. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We are very grateful for all your support.
What a great way to end the year! The group had its ups and downs but with the joined efforts of every single one of us, we got up and succeeded in bringing back Surf in the City: The Visayas Surfing Cup. Certainly a huge step forward in achieving our goals for the future. We don’t what the future holds for us, but count on us for we here to stay.
Surfing brought is all together, and we made it. We did it. Cheers to all of us! Congratulations, Surfriders Club of Eastern Samar Inc.! Happy New Year to all!
