Surf Report and weeks forecast for Huntington Beach Pier CA. Video recorded Monday 1-10-2022 at 7:10am.

Update: Tuesday 1-11-2022.
Slow increase in surf afternoon consistent 2-3 max 4 foot faces.
Late afternoon a few 5’s . Shape is fair with some fun ones.
Wind NE offshore morning 5-8mph and variable afternoon turning sometimes onshore W for awhile.
Water about 57.5
Air temps after a low of 48 Degrees topping out low 70’s and mostly sunny a few passing high thin clouds.
Sunrise 6:58am and sunset 5:03pm.
Weather expected to be about the same for Wednesday and surf expected to further increase more slightly with good conditions Huntington Beach area..
Update: Wednesday 1-12-2022
Mid to high level clouds moving in from a SW direction, with occasional sun peeking through.
Morning low air temp upper 40’s with a high on the sand about 70 degrees.
Wind light offshore variable until about 10am then light onshore variable afternoon.
Surf has increased peaking today WSW swell with wave faces topping about 7 feet on the face. Biggest around pier, and Golden West street.
Smooth to some light texture morning and only slightly choppy afternoon.
Water temp about 57.5 and holding last few days.
Sunrise 6:58am sunset 5:04pm
Surf expected to decrease a little tomorrow Thursday but still some good left overs next few days.
Although condition not quite as good as today.
Increasing clouds Thursday and most of Friday, very slight chance of some light rain, partly cloudy Saturday more sun by Sunday..
Update: Thursday 1-13-2022 Mostly overcast mid high level clouds.
Cooler temps for highs upper 60’s after morning low about 49.
Winds light offshore morning variable NE turning slightly onshore afternoon variable.
Sunrise about 6:57am sunset 5:05pm.
Surf leftover WSW swell still hanging in there morning 3-5 max 7 faces decreasing further afternoon with the low tide 0 feet about 1:33pm.
Further decrease in surf expected Friday but still a few leftover pulses fair.
Water about 57.5 and holding steady.
Slight chance of a few light drops of rain tonight, clearing a little Friday afternoon into Saturday but still some cloudy skies expected next few days..
Update: Friday 1-14-2022 mostly cloudy with some afternoon hazy sun getting through mid and high level clouds.
Air temperature topping upper 60’s on the sand after a morning low in the low 50’s.
Winds light variable mostly offshore morning turning variable light onshore afternoon.
The swell still hanging in there with leftover pulses from the WNW.
Surf height 3 to 4 fairly consistent with still 5 to 6 foot max faces occasionally.
Water temperature remains about 57.5 with a mostly smooth surface morning and slightly choppy afternoon.
Sunrise about 6:57am sunset 5:06pm
Tides on the high side early 6:29am 5.4 and fairly low around 2:06pm -0.3
Looks like more of the same for Saturday, very slight chance of very light rain briefly?
Update: Saturday 1-15-2022 Tsunami advisory morning as a volcano erupted underwater in the SW Pacific Ocean off Island of Tonga.
Wave generally not felt in the area of Huntington Beach other than maybe some current coming in from the south being cancelled out by a fairly consistent WNW swell.
Surf in the 3 to 4, 5 foot range with some 6 max peak wave faces.
Best afternoon after morning light rain and light onshore wind.
Wind actually turns light variable offshore past noon with overcast skies, and mostly a smooth ocean surface.
Water 57.5 degrees and air temp topping low 60’s after morning low in the low 50’s.

Slight decrease in surf maybe Sunday but still fair, with some sun and mostly cloudy skies expected also.
Tides are generally high early morning 5.6 at 7:03am and low -0.5 at 2:38pm.
Update: Sunday 1-16-2022 mostly cloudy morning a few light rain drops.
Wind light variable ESE early turning more south to SW afternoon onshore light 5-8pmh.
Air temps low 50’s morning, topping upper 60’s afternoon with broken clouds some sun.
The surf continues to hang in there WNW 3 to 4, 5 foot sets, with max 6 foot peak wave faces. Shape is generally fair+ thanks to the light winds.
Water quality looking a little patchy brown from recent rains.
Sunrise 6:57am sunset 5:08pm
High tide 7:35am 5.7 low tide 3:08pm -0.7
Slight decrease in surf Monday but still ok!
Tuesday afternoon looks like improving weather although surf decrease further but still fair sets next few days.
