Update: Tuesday 3-15-2022 thick fog morning through early afternoon, then Hazy sun.
Air temp low 52, high 66
Wind calm early to slightly onshore S
Light wind through early afternoon then W onshore 8-10mph peaking about 4pm.
Sunrise 7:03am sunset 7:00pm
Surf WNW swell and small S swell 3 to 4 foot wave faces, hard to see with thick fog.
Water 58.
High tide 8:05am 5.2 low tide 3:07pm -0.5
Weather for tomorrow expected slightly warmer more sun with possible thick night and morning fog.
Surf tomorrow slight increase from the W direction..
Update: Wednesday 3-16-2022 morning low clouds light fog, hazy sun afternoon.
Air temp low 53 high 69
Wind calm to light onshore S early around sunrise 7:02 am, sunset 7:01pm.
Wind slow steady increase S to SW peaking W 8-12 mph about 5pm.
Surf WNW swell has increase a little small S combined 4 to 5 foot wave faces max 6.
Shape only fair at best early because of onshore wind chop and some side current N to S.
High tide 8:40am 5.3, low tide 3:31pm -0.5
Weather Thursday about the same and surf about the same also with a slight decrease later afternoon then holding..
Update: Thursday 3-17-2022 clouds morning light patchy fog clearing to hazy sun past 10:30am.
Air temp low 54 degrees, afternoon high 72.
Wind calm to light N offshore early sunrise 7:01am. Then wind turns light onshore WNW to W afternoon peaking 5pm 8-12 mph. Sunset 7:02pm.
Surf is up a bit WNW with small S combo. 4 to 5 wave faces occasional 6. Shape is on the walled side with a few fair+ sections through morning.
Gets a little choppy afternoon with Southside holding a fair left by pier but a little crumbly.
Water up slightly 58.5
High tide 9:15am 5.3, low tide 3:56 -0.4
Overall WNW swell peaks this afternoon as slight increase small S.
Waves tomorrow Friday slightly smaller but still fair+ shape especially morning with the smoother surface and early tide push.
Weather a little cooler with some increasing clouds overall, but still nice hazy sun afternoon..
Update: Friday 3-18-2022 a few clouds morning, very light patchy fog, mostly clear afternoon past 11:00am hazy.

Wind calm to light S onshore early sunrise 6:59am sunset 7:03pm.
Surf WNW swell hanging in there slightly less consistent than yesterday but shape is a little better.
Small S swell blending in also,
3 to 5 foot faces. A few 6 north side.
Mushing fast connections outside to inside shore break fair+
Water 58.5
High tide 9:51am best time before early and a little after til noon.
Low tide 4:21pm -0.2 .
Wind peaks WSW onshore about 8-12 mph about 5pm.
Surf drops slightly more tomorrow Sat but increases Sunday with weather system going through.
Weather slightly cooler Sat increasing clouds possible light rain evening, clearing Sunday afternoon.
Update: Saturday 3-19-2022 increasing clouds partly sunny onshore wind flow, slight chance of rain showers late tonight?

Wind started light SE early then turning S SW WSW afternoon 9 to12 some gusts 14 mph peaking around 5pm.

Surf mostly SW swell a little WNW down a little from yesterday overall.
3 to 4 some 5 foot faces.
Shape is on poor side with onshore wind flow but still some rideable sections mushy.
High tide 10:31am 4.8 low tide 4:47pm 0.2

Tomorrow Sunday surf increases a little combo SW WNW.
Most likely breezy after weak late winter rain front moves through.
If not best early, most likely better afternoon?
Monday and next week weather warms up, surf drops down a little but still hanging in there 3 to 4 or so?..
Update: Sunday 3-20-2022 Spring arrives with 1 more winter storm last night dumping a few hours of steady rain!
Clearing after mid morning sunny skies but windy onshore from the W starting 8-12 mph around sunrise 6:56am.
Windy increases through out the day peaking steady 15 with gusts to 22 mph around 4pm. Sunset 7:04pm.
The surf basically blown out. Best chance Southside with a few guys.
Lots of side current and very mushy shoulders after a quick steep drop left.
NW wind swell with a little SSW 5 to 6 foot wave faces, a quick max 7 foot section possible before it chops itself out.
Water down a degree 57.
Low air temp 54, high 64 with a wind chill.
Cleaner shape for tomorrow Monday but size goes down also 3 to 5 max 6 expected.
Weather much better also tomorrow.
Blackies Newport had a decent left today a few guys out. A little less windy there and no side current.
High tide 11:15am 4.3, low tide 5:13pm 0.7
