4πr² = Total surface area of sphere πr² = Area of cross section of sphere Here, Sir is multiplying the cross sectional area of one sphere to the total number of molecules present at STP. Only the area equal to cross section is occupied by a single molecule while the adsorption is taking place. So it depends on the type of question asked, whether we have to take total surface area or only the area of cross section of the sphere?

Sir Langmuir mei dissociative or non dissociative se nahi dekhenge.... Srf gas ki atomicity se check krenge

Mechanism dekhna bahut important hai kyonki agar polyatomic gas bhi non dissociative mechanism se surface par adsorb hoti h to Langmuir isotherm ka monoatomic gas wala expression hi use hoga. Atomicity ka impact tabhi aayega jab gas dissociative process se adsorb ho rahi ho.
