Great comparison vid. So true, a little smaller means faster, less chance of striping, less passes needed. Only thing I might suggest, 2.5 x 2 is 5, and your gpm machine is 5.5, I would recommend 2x3gpm tips, yes your psi will slightly go down, but I'm pretty sure ? that is bad for your pump to run anything smaller than 5.5 gpm nozzles.

I have been happier with a little smaller diameter surface cleaner than larger diameter surface cleaner for just the reasons you showed, thanks for vid!

I agree bro, 16-18 inch gives a better passing clean over a 21 inch mosmatic speeds up your work rate

Hi, Yes, it looked like the 18 inch surface cleaner you only had to pass once. The 20 inch surface cleaner up and down and side to side. What size nozzle tips did you have on both surface cleaner? Would it made a difference if you changed the 20 inch nozzle tips 2502 x (2) to 25025. Especially if you use a 4 gpm pressure washer? I know more water flow is key but maybe it makes a difference. Especially for the size GPM machine. Then again, it could be the quality of brand surface cleaner. Just a thought. What size was your pressure washer machine (4.0, 5.5 or 8.0) GPM? Also direct drive or belt? Thanks for the the comparison video

Belt drive machine. I had on the 25025 on both surface cleaners. The general pump 18 I feel is a better surface cleaner over my 20”. My 20” surface cleaner is a generic brand and helped me get started. Still use that one from time to time.

Hey man, iv been torn between the 20” and the 16” for my 4gpm cold water unit. I have a cheap 19” that’s been working pretty great, I have to pre treat pretty heavy and still need to take 2 passes allot. I was wondering how much time it would save only needing to take 1 pass and clearly it’s massive. At any rate you should post an affiliate Amazon link in your description so we can support your channel.

Why are you not getting good cleaning with a 20 inch? You have 5.5 gpm machine, it should do fine on a 5.5 gpm. Maybe your 20 inch surface cleaner is no good brand?
