Message for Tony from Wetlines, used a similar rig in the nineties, only real difference was a bubble float with tubing and a cork ball instead of a bailie, Fantastic rig, bringing me 26 carp to 24lb in an 8 hour period on a packed pool, bank holiday weekend with most other Angler’s blanking. One slight difference to try on your rig is to swop the biollie stop for a number 4 shot, then try this, what you will find it will turn the boiling upside down in the water with the hook facing upwards. (No way for the carp to see the hook from underneath) give it a try you will see the difference. Cheers Neil.

@@tonyknight1971 let us know how you get on, it doubled my catch rate, by the hook being out the water, also try the cork balls soaked in your preferred flavours. There was a big carper late 90’s who stalked the carp with only cork balls with a massive catch rate. Can’t think of his name though

Thanks Tony. Being an old new angler I couldn't understand why I wasn't catch yesterday using this rig. Now I know why !. My hook link was 6" long rather than 2 - 3 ' .I,m definitely the Mr Bean of fishing 😅 Thanks again.

Not a problem, I also reel in very slowly as well, to keep that hook link nice and straight, so when you see that carp come up and take your bait, it's instant connection when you strike

So do these korda float controllers give the bolt effect?

They do help to give a bit of resistance to help set the hook, but 90% of it is in you striking as the carp takes your hook bait, I hope that helps

Very good pal, a lot clearer than most videos and a couple of tips ive only just seen such as burning the tag end and putting your bait on the hair before tieing the hook so the hook is closer to the bait. Cheers fella

Good tutorial mate, but how do I get braid through the interceptor float ?

Personally the easiest way I found was, take all parts out and separate them. So you have the actual float part on its own and the tube. Then moisten the braid and you should find it easier to get it through each part easier separately. Then when you have it through them all, put them all back together and you should have no problems.

Thanks for that I bought one of those floats but had no idea how to rig it up I blanked the other day because of that but they were spawning at the time and it was hot 🥵 so yea many thanks bruv

Great video, easy to understand, which clip would you use for clipping on spare rig if nessasary as i like to do them at home ?

I personally don't use clips, but you could tie on a kwik link to your mainline, and then you could just attach the swivel to that, give that ago and let us know how you get on
