Thanks for sharing your vids, it’s been so helpful the last week. I live right near the south coast, but only just got into Bass fishing off the shore with light tackle. Only started last weekend targeting Bass, watched several of your videos and BOOM! 12 Bass in 2 early morning sessions. I have a few year’s history fly fishing and there’s so many comparisons that I feel so at home when with just a backpack, rod n reel. Love your energy 😊

How does that place in general mate fish off the bottom? I'll be visiting relatives in Emsworth and need to get out, was thinking of chucking a 2 or 3 hook flapper out with one rod and lure fishing with the other... been binge watching your vids last few days, made me realise I've missed plenty of opportunities when staying down! Been great trying to triangulate your spots too... going to take a few walks first to see the lie of the land and bottom with the tide out etc! Thanks man, great content!

Hey man! Cool content coming from You! I’ve just started using the penn slammer 2500, I just started fishing again after many years. Having issue with wind knots, never before been a problem. My question is will the penn slammer 2500 (iv) take a 150meter of braid without some backing or would you recommend some backing line first ? I think I need to under fill slightly right?
@Anglingaddict752 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I always use backing, helps the braid not to slip on the spool. If you getting wind knots on the slammer it's over filled. Put backing to the first line then put your 150m on.

I know that feeling when you can't afford lures being used ! What I can say is eddystone eels are still top dog for there price !( white ones personally) ! Let's be honest you can have the most expensive lure ever ! But of your casting where the fish are not !! Your waisting your time ! Spend more time on water craft and you will get better results. Good luck

Sorry Wayne, that came out wrong, not having a go. Rick is correct too and I've just bought some Razor Claw 30g minnows - cheap as chips and a v successful lure. Not much watercraft to study in North London but yes, I hear ya! Tight lines chaps!

If you're handy with your hands, try making some. There's nothing more satisfying than having an excellent session on lures you've made yourself. There's plenty of tutorials for beginners out there. The best thing is that you can truly customise them to match the indigenous bait-fish colours and size, and they're not expensive once you're set up.
