Hi! Use regular fishing rod can? or must it be surfcasting rod? i went there a few times and no bites... do you guys just cast and wait for the bell to ring? and what weight sinker and hook size do you normally use ? I'm still relatively new to fishing :D

Surfcasting is generally for if you are targeting bigger game fishes. Any rod is fine but if you are using regular fishing rods better not to go to the end as the current is very very strong and you need heavy rods to cast heavy sinkers. We use anchored size 6-8 sinkers and size 5/0 daichi hooks for targeting bigger fishes. Most of the time we also no bites hahaha

Hi bro, honestly we are still new to the jetty and not sure what fish we can expect. But if lucky can get good size stingrays there if playing big game.

Usually at the three quarter part of the jetty is good for queenies in daytime! Night time dont rly have specific part that is productive I believe
