Thank you for this explanation. Can I accurately determine the location on the ground without shifting the z? And if there is a displacement of the site, what should I do?

Hello, Thank you for your question! By gridding a dataset with ground elevation values you will recreate an accurate ground surface. You have to have that dataset already on hand though, Surfer cannot find the Z values for you. If there is displacement at the site you can account for it by adding a fault or breakline into your gridding settings. Steps to do so are listed here: support.goldensoftware.com/hc/en-us/articles/226504167-Gridding-data-with-faults-in-Surfer Thank you, Golden Software Support

I have another question and I thank the technical support team for answering the questions. Are there map programs from which z.y.x values were taken to be processed with voxler or surfer? Detecting the interior of the earth without the need to go to the site to be examined and without the need for gradient measuring devices. Please reply

Hello, We are unaware of other mapping programs that automatically collect the interior of the earth without having to go the site and collect data. Thank you, Golden Software Support

Nice presentation, thanks a lot. I am going to purchase this software before that I need to know following points; 1) How do I create profile section like Cu Vs X, Cu Vs Y, Cu Vs arbitrary line from 3D volume of X Y Z & Copper. 2) Why VTK files created from Paraview software are not getting accepted in this software, showing error as unsupported VTK file. How to resolve this issue?
@GoldenSoftware3 ай бұрын
Greetings, Thanks for your comment! I'm unsure why a VTK from Paraview would not load correctly in Surfer. We've heard a few reports of this, though, and would like to investigate further. Please send us a copy of one of these VTK files to support@goldensoftware.com so our development team can take a closer look at the file. You could add an Image Slice to a 3D Grid to act as a profile. To do so, create a 3D View from your 3D Grid. Then, click Tools | Add to 3D Grid | Image Slice to create the Image Slice. You can adjust the orientation and position of the Image Slice using the Properties window. Best, Golden Software Support

How can I find the blanks accurately without any displacement .. Thank you
@GoldenSoftware2 жыл бұрын
Hello Noor, Thank you for your question. We do not have experience with, or support, any hardware or data collection devices; we manufacture software that allows you to visualize data. This data can be anything, and we and our programs have no way of knowing what the data is, or what values are significant for what you are searching for, so we cannot help you interpret the results. If you do not know what your data represents, please contact the dealer or manufacturer of the equipment. Thank you, Golden Software Support

Why the Z negative is shown in positive?
@GoldenSoftware2 жыл бұрын
Hello May, Thank you for your comment! The Z value must be positive and non-zero. For subsurface maps the Z value is loaded in as a collars table so that it can be intepreted properly by Surfer. You can read more about that here: surferhelp.goldensoftware.com/drillhole/drillhole_layer.htm?Highlight=drillhole If you would like to grid data that has negative values you can do so by following the instructions here: support.goldensoftware.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039706714-Gridding-data-with-negative-or-0-values-in-Surfer-with-a-log-transform?source=search Sincerely, Golden Software Support
