Surfing glitch in Pokemon Yellow / Blue / Red

Ahhh, I miss the good ol' days of Pokémon Yellow... I mean, i'm glad that Pokémon is still goin' strong, but the originals were so much more pure to me.

I found one back in the day, was pretty cool. I did it on Yellow. You had to go listen to the pokemon catching tutorial some guy tells you at the beggining. Then, without moving you use fly and get to the city with ythe fire-gym. You then go in a straight line to the water to the east, and use surf then. Keep surfing along the coast and some wild lvl 130 stuff will appear, and you can catch them. Don't try to catch Missingno though, because your saved file may dissapear.

Wow, that's not even close to true. Gold, Silver, and Crystal were the best ever. Not only can you have the same pokemon you could have in the original games, but they also have better sprites and other features.

Nidoran is an easy option for Brock. Butterfree is also a considerable option. Misty stays the hardest GL in the game, because Starmie is overpowered.

An easier way to get to the truck (If that's what you want, and you DON'T want to cheat) is to get Cut on the cruise, and then lose to a trainer. That way, the boat will never leave, and you can come back with Surf much later in the game and visit he boat again. Though if you enter the boat, you will have to lose to some trainer once again, or else the boat will leave.

to get to the truck just lose to some trainer in ss anne after u got cut HM2 or something then u wake up on a pokemon center then you can go and challenge the 3rd GYM leader and when u get surf u can always go there and see the truck but dont get in the ship or else if u go out it wil go away

While everyone seems to be arguing about which is the best... Gen 1 wasn't really all that good, battling mechanics were broken and buggy. Gen 2 freaking amazing. It's non negotiable. Gen 3 a real let down after the success of gen 2. Something's (like the introduction of abilities and more unique hold items) were revolutionary and are still affecting the game in some way today. Surf is HM03 and is found in the Safari Zone in Fuchsia City. Travel all through the Safari Zone until you come upon a house that is deepest in. A man in the house will give you HM03 as a prize.

Not that early in the game, but it stays hard because of a strong STABbed Bubblebeam. For the real pro's Recover is the main reason, yeah. And the high Special en Speed.
