Surfing THE WAVE with SAM PILGRIM - Court In The Act Ep. 223

This week I head to the WAVE in Bristol and link up with pro mountain bike free rider's @Sam Pilgrim and @Tom Cardy to check out this new wave pool that has just opened this year. It is one of the best artificial waves in the world, featuring a left and right hand point break beginner, intermediate and advance wave sizes and a super cool setup in the British countryside. I have heard a lot about it so when the opportunity came up for a visit, we loaded the van and hit the road to have some fun!!
The kite launcher came with me for the ride and we scored some sick waves miles away from the beach! Sam shows me his skills on a board and then I show him how to bust a step set on his Haibike E-bike... ;)
Really cool to see how this wave technology is developing and also realise how good this could be as a learning tool for getting your surfing better even when the ocean is flat!

Yes for sure. You get so much time riding waves on a kite compared with surfing... however the wave is great practise too
