So as i am sick with covid and recovering, and before getting sick lost my cat for 11 nights and days as it fell out a window i had forgotten was open.
It wore me out both body and mind looking for him, and I nearly had no sleep sometimes no sleep at all for 48 hours, and food was not welcome either so i was exhausted. Then when i finally found him and he was home again, Covid broke out in my face hard the day after, still sick but today I was feeling better and i wanted to redo this one playing with .8 gauge on my Stratocaster which has Fender locking tuners, and a nice Seymore Duncan Hot rails as a bridge pickup! I'll have to get some cool pickups for my neck and mid later when I can afford it, which probably will be very long till but I'll at least enjoy the bridge pickup as it sounds awesome! I intonated and setup the guitar the same day as my cat went missing, so glad i have him back, you can see him run up to the window in the end looking outside thru it, yes it's closed haha!
The intonation is, if not perfect pretty close to, i could always do minor adjustments to get it 100% but its 99,98% set so i am satisfied! Just learned how to do it, and i did it to my fretted bass, and my telecaster too, and I really love to mod guitars, and never been more into the instrument before as i am now! Also having done a 14 hours semester of learning modes and scales for bass and the music theory behind , and learned about the circle of fifths, and studying the fretboard notes and understanding more of what's up over there, well that has helped me a lot! I am a bit rusty already i can tell, but when i recover back to normal from covid I'll practice more, and restudy every music theory I've learned so far and just keep at it till it's as easy to remember as to answer what time it is when someone asks :)

Thank you so much! 🙂 I enjoyed making the bassline on this one, played on a Fender Fretless J bass 🙂I used a Squier Affinity Telecaster for the rhythm guitar and My Fender Strat is my lead guitar as you can see, so had lots of fun making this one! :-) Wish i had electric drums so I could play drums my self, but arranged some simple drums in my DAW that I think worked well! 😀 Thank you so much for the comment, and I'm very happy you liked it, I appreciate you! ❤

@@FingalPersson I listened to your version a second time to understand and identify why I like it so much. The result: I will try to explain myself even though putting words to a musical experience is an absurdity. Your version is, I think, an alter ego of the original; a soulmate of the original, a genetic mutation of the original, the reflection in the mirror of the original; the dizygotic twin sister of the original… In short, I couldn’t tell you why your version moves me so much! I know the original by heart, I listened to it thousands of times and played it hundreds of times, never being satisfied with my cover. Your musical universe, which I am just discovering, is fascinating and strange. I enjoy listening to covers of Joe Satriani’s music by virtuosos who perfectly reproduce the master’s work, but I hate sloppy covers. I tell you sincerely, from the first few seconds of listening, your music took me somewhere else, and that was both unexpected and delightful. I am subscribing and will calmly listen to your other productions because when I taste a delicious dish at a restaurant, I come back to taste all the dishes on the menu. If I may, it would be great if your version were recorded professionally and if you worked in post-production on this seed that is just waiting to bloom into a beautiful flower. You seem to have a rich and unique musical universe that can take us on a baroque and satisfying journey. That’s everything the first listen brought me. Sincerely, bravo.

@@lecokase 💘 I am at a loss of words! The way you analyzed it, complimented it and the great metaphorical use to describe how you felt listening to it moved my heart and made me smile and filled my body and soul with a happiness not easily described with words! I would love to record this professionally one day and make the seed sprout in glory! Music is a passion that takes me on a journey where my thoughts enter another dimension of feelings and joy! I am so happy you liked it! Music is my way expressing my self and what I feel vibrates along with the notes I produce putting my soul and heart into it! I can wake up one day and have intense music inside my head that is so clear that my ears knows exactly what it wants to hear and I just have to play what I hear even if it means I have to sit down and figure it out for hours before I get it right! Sometimes I end up in a hyperfocus playing my guitar for 10 hours straight, even forgetting to eat while doing so, and still after 10 hours I struggle to put the guitar or bass down, because It feels like its only been a few minutes, and have to be strict with my self when I see what time it is and how long I've been playing for! I sometimes joke around saying that my instruments are my kids, and the music is my wife! I would never separate my self from it and could never imagine a life without instruments or music! You have no idea how happy it made me to read your comment, and the fact that my playing moved you and touched your feelings the way you describe! It really means the world to me and right now you have filled me with joy and happiness! I appreciate you, and genuinely love you for making me happy! I wish you all the best, and god bless you! I will make something special for you when my new guitar neck comes in the mail along with the last pickup I'm waiting for! When I'm done soldering the new pots and the new pickup and replaced the neck I will make up a song and name it after you! Your comment is sincerely the most beautiful comment I've ever read in my life! And I want you to know how much I appreciate you with doing just that! God bless you! 💝💖💗💓💞💕

@@Knights_out thank you ❤️ I found my cat luckily before covid made it's move. but I'm recovering now, so hopefully I'll get better at the end of this weekend. also fighting against a carpenter company that tries to Freud me for money, so life sucks but music and my cat makes me breathe and are the only two main reasons to why I wake up in the morning.

I parked my guitar for 10 years because I could not get better, playing only by ear! Then started learning bass by ear almost a year ago, and joined a semester for music theory that lasted 14 hours, that made buy some guitars and pickup where i left! My personality has also grown along my journey to become a much better instrumentalist 🙂 💘 Greetings to you too my friend!

@@NMena6 Thank you so much! The two main reasons to wake up in the morning is my cat and my instruments, I've always kept other instruments while being away from guitars for too long, like a piano and even had an acoustic guitar that I kept while electric guitar was gone from my my life a decade, oh though it was a cheap acoustic guitar, and at the end of 2020 I had or so I threw it away as it has damages to the 12th and 13th frets. Much love my Argentinean friend! Greeting from Norway!
