From the TP&W website...Flat surface, jaw closed, maximum length by squeezing tail for soft tale species or tail bent for hard tailed species. This info is not on the app. Cheers 🤠

Nice kayak man! I live in Dickinson tx so it's cool to watch some local fishing. I haven't bought anything yet but might get into fishing. Looks like a relaxing time!

If ypu run out of those hoagies, i use a very similar bait from Mister Twister. Theyre in the Crappie bait section.

I’ll have to look into them! I’m down to my last six hoagies

Christian, I'm from Bellaire/Meyerland/Houston. BellaireHS'69. my family bought our first beach house in Surfside in 1958. I grew up there. Until they finished the bridge over SanLuisPass in '69 there wasn't a road to the pass. we had to drive to the pass on the beach ;) that is all my home turf. have also fished the 'SlopBowl' most of my life ;)
@captjack50908 ай бұрын
in high school we ran to the SlopBowl in a 14' flat bottom jon boat with a 9.9hp tiller from the ICW bridge at 332. then we poled each other. we also used to get out and wade fish most of the time. we got into kayak fishing in 1990 when the first Scuppers & Prisms came out. but back them we used them more as a bicycle on the water to get to where we could wade fish. we also spent a lot of our time fishing the 'dawn patrol' on the beach. we always took our surfboards and our trout rods. we'd fish the dawn bite until the sun crested the horizon and the bite quit. if there was any surf we'd surf for a while and we were usually home in Houston by 9am. usually with some fish in the cooler. i'm 6'5 so i was the only one who could walk the 2nd gut to the 3rd sandbar ;). and we always stopped at the 'Boilers' going to the pass, and coming back from the pass to Surfside. if you want to know about the 'Boilers' contact me v PM on FB - Jack Krohn ;)

Surfside is a crazy area for all kinds of fishing. Also I’ve never heard of the boilers. Slot bowl has been my favorite spot for redfish. Massive fish back in there!
