I recently got this build concept to level 80. After doing some testing on the dummy I'm hitting around 1.1mil, I'm unsure why I'm getting about 1/3rd the damage. I think I'm either doing something wrong or my gear is significantly worse, is there some way I can have you take a gander at it.

Interesting leveling tech with frost claw, it's prob better than glacier in the campaign. But I don't think it will stay that way when they fix frostclaw glacier buff and you get 144% cold pen for free. Also you should prob grab the "second cast behind target" node in frostclaw to double the hits.

As a new player to LE hearing you say surge deserves not one, not two but a FEW Nerfs just disappoints me! I started as a Runemaster and wanted to try spell blade. I have an indignation for nerfs in any game as do most people.

I think Flame Reave is my favourite skill in the game. I've been playing it for donkeys.

At what point during leveling can I try this build out? When I have enough for surge or do I need significantly more? In the video he said 48 points outside of the base mastery so how many is that roughly?

Love the videos! I'm a new player. How does it work to swap between skills? Don't you have to specialize in each skill? Also, is it possible for you to link a mage leveling guide?

I'm quite new to this game. Only have one lvl 70 sorcerer. I lvled using glacier. Now I am trying to switch at lvl 25 to frost claw as this build suggest but I do very little damage, and survivability is low. Why the switch to frost claw? It feels like glacier is superior. I would say to lvl 50 its way stronger. Am I missing something? Basically glacier feels like a full screen wipe speel every 3 seconds, while frost claw is just tickeling. The DPS tooltip on glacier for me was 2300 when I respecced to frost claw which has DPS of 270. I really do feel 10x slower. @Dr3adful, any ideas?

Does any flat type of damage on a weapon get converted to the element of the skill you're using or just the melee physical damage?

Any reason you dont just use character found setting to simualte empty stash and crafting mats?

So that feature is currently only allowed in Offline, as online has PoE style SSF, which is cool and all but not perfect for what I want. In the next patch we are regaining access to Character Found, so that will be cool. Id rather not play offline, as it currently stands they seem to be different games with parity problems, as certain builds work on Online vs Offline, so Id rather stay online.

Im still lost as to what Static does when you are in your single target spec? So you just get to 100 stacks of static and then do nothing with them?

There is a node inside Surge that gives you more lightning damage per static stack we have

But based on the video, you have these spec'd skills, Surge, Fire Brand, Flame Ward, Flame Reave, and Enchant Weapon@@Dr3adful *Edit: Unless you just swap Flame Reave for Static each time you're bossing

Static doesnt not get speced into, its just there to give damage to surge@@bersz321

I think from what i gathered, he changed static to the active skills so it would build up the stacks but he never changed it to be specialised as nothing is needed from within the skill tree because the effect comes from Inside surge skill tree.

How many skills can you specialize in? I'm assuming you can do more than 5 since you are swapping skills, but im not sure

You can only specialize 5 skills but you can still use all the skills your class has available. In this case you're only using teleport for movement and static for its interaction with Surge, so they don't need to be spec'd.

To assume you are forced to follow what I make a video about is dumb. If you want to play the game how you want to play....go ahead I guess? It's not like I am some god where everything I say is factual or the truth. Its simply a concept I worked on recently while waiting for a new patch.
