The development team really knocked it out of the park in terms of feel and aesthetic, I got the game for like 8 dollars and felt like I was playing a 30-40$ product

The battle at 32:00, one of the things I've noticed with a lot of your battles, you like to place your Explosive Fungi too close to your units early on, which assures that the Fungi will be useful, but if you are trying to use the Fungi as an actual primary or secondary damage source, you have to use it further out, so you still have room to place it further in as the battle draws on. Personally, I don't think I would rely on EF other than as just a bonus source of damage when it works, but you have mentioned several times that you want to use it as an actual strategy.

Yeah, that's fair and I've noticed the flaws in that approach too, it's just that I really hate it when I mispredict the enemy pathing and waste the fungi haha

@@Norovo - Yeah, that is 100% understandable, since a fungi that gets skipped is a waste of resources anyway. It looks like a great game, though!

About 1:08:10: I think those messages refer to Your actions in the previous turn: Your hero was defeated in the battle, so the "story" reflected it on the next day. Also, the other day, when You had many winning battles the story said "spoils of war".

Need a rally point since it gives you access to the entire pool of recruitable units from all settlements not just a singular town.

One thing I dont like is how the Wielder is not on the field like he is in Heroes. Just an icon casting spells is kinda meh - he should be there on the field

Yeah, that would be better. I like that each wielder has a unique overworld sprite though

@@Norovo That is true for Heroes too so I dont find it too special haha. To be honest - the diversity in the overworld heroes on HoMM5 was way more interesting.

Never played HOM. but growing up on the likes of Warlords 3 and myth 2 fallen lords. HOM always interested me. this is the game ive been waiting for. ill be keeping a sharp eye out on this one. (i don't buy earlie acces/preorder/ kick starter or anyother BS you pay for before completetion)
