I hope Sheldon can play football again but it seems to me the single most important thing is to insure that his long term mobility is not compromised. I love football but 2 years amateur is not worth long-term arthritis/mobility issues

I’m going through this at the moment... I snapped my acl 3vyears ago and got told it was just a sprain since then I have torn my meniscus, because I’m the uk the waiting lists are long (COVID). I’m waiting 6 months

You should do a video about how you continue to stay positive and look for the silver lining in situations like this. I think that a video like that could benefit a lot of people as we all have poor situations that arise like the one with your knee. Staying positive is super important especially now. Just an idea

Not really mate, I’m doing what I love and it makes me happy. If I am told it’s not wise to play again then obviously we will have to reevaluate the situation. But where I was and where I am now, I love pursuing football 👍

How could a surgery help if it didn’t the first time

Because scar tissue has built up and the stitch that was put in there originally has moved out of place I believe. There may also be new problems as it was a horrible tear originally

I’ve had at least 100 people message me this. I understand he’s great but I need to have surgery, simple as that. Once I’m back and rehabbing I will be working closely with the physiotherapists that I trust. If this doesn’t work then I may look to other people. I appreciate the comment but I have some very knowledgeable people who know what they’re doing already 👍

Don’t want to be a hater which I’m not. But I found your channel. 365 days to get a pro contract that’s was like 2/3 years ago if you was good enough you’d be at a club by now. You’ve had lots of trails at places I can see, if you was at a level of a pro you don’t have to find teams they find you. Sorry to be a downer bro. Seem to be putting your self through a lot for nothing. Just take a step back find a job you like and play for fun. You probably don’t even enjoy football any more! Looks like your knees gone which will effect you later in life. You need to ask your self ive been trying for years and got no where.

Not necessarily true about that he would’ve found a club by now and that clubs find you is not true at all because there are plenty of top players around the world without them. He is obviously putting his body through a lot because thats how much it means to him and can’t be told otherwise by a few people in his comments. I know you said not to be a downer but it’s not really a very positive or productive message to leave. His knee is not gone at all and I’m sure he will be back, just because you want to get a normal job you don’t need to try push your insecurity onto him

@@harrapearce talking from my own journey. Released at 18 from being at club since 9. The endless search for a club. Trails all over the place. Got to a point where isn’t not enjoyable anymore. No security, no income. You can be a fan boy all you like. But sometimes the truth is a hard pill to swallow I know this. But if I had been good enough then I wouldn’t have been released same for this guy. Had enough chances somebody would of had him by now. That’s a fact!
