Im so glad you put your foot down with the surgeon re rescheduling your surgery. I think they often lose perspective in regards to patients emotional status. Please don’t apologize venting the frustrations you’re going thru. I pray the next 10 days fly smoothly by for you

As a fellow cancer survivor I can relate … there are many milestones along the cancer recovery journey that only you can prepare for … whatever that is its your story which is unique to you and that only you can truly deal with … you are doing everything right sticking to the rules … and then something is thrown at you unexpectedly that kneecaps you and your mental health is thrown a curve ball along with your physical health … stay strong gorgeous lady … nearly there ❤

I had a loop ileostomy for 9 months during my rectal cancer treatment. I agree with you that the surgery and ileostomy were more demanding than chemo or radiation. Living with an ostomy presents lots of challenges. Restless nights certainly are a big part of the challenge. I totally understand your disappointment. In the moment it seems unbearable. But in the future it will seem like it all happened in the blink of an eye. I wish you well with the ostomy reversal and hope your post-op adjustment goes quickly.

I’m so sorry Laura…. I can’t believe they would do that to you. I wish you had better health care. It’s not your fault & they should pay for every. Bless you & I hope they get their sh__t together. I'm so sorry about the surgery delay! It's really difficult to put so much emotional energy into getting to X date and then thinking something will be changed, only to have that goal post moved. I am so glad you were able to advocate for yourself and get a new date though. I hope these next few weeks speed by.

Dear Laura, I totally understand your disappointment, It's really hard but please try to stay positive, in just 2 weeks all the bad things will be over and you will start normal, good life again ❤❤ In such situations, we have saying that "everything bad happens for some good reasons", so I always try to remember this, have a nice day 🥰
