Taking pictures in beautiful clothes would be so much fun. Walking into a huge boutique and picking out clothes I love and taking them home wouldn't be just fun it'd be a literal dream come true. Y'all are so lucky like for real ..🥺🥺🙃🙂 My step dad was one of the first people to ever have lasik surgery, now 20-30 years later he still says it was one of the best decisions he ever made.

LASIK was great, but keep in mind, as you age, you will start having far sightedness, ( where you need reading glasses) Talk to your doctor if you can plan for that with your surgery. It was so nice to not need glasses. But now I have trifocals, a layer for reading, a layer for computer work, and the upper layer for distance since my eyes did continue to get worse for distance. Oh the pleasure of aging!

I had lasik and it was a game changer. Easy, quick procedure and easy recovery. Drove to my follow up appt next day. Nothing better than getting off the table and being able to see the clock! I had a -9 script so I was blind! Lol but my brothers and friends had it done bc I had such a good experience and know you will too. Good luck!

Had lasik it will be 2 years in November. I hate it. I would take my contacts and glasses back in a heartbeat. I’m on Restasis for sever dry eye. I still use re wetting drops several times a day. That’s something they don’t talk about to you a lot. If you have a lot of allergies in your eye then I would recommend consider.

One of the best ways I found to keep the curls in my daughters hair, which usually would only last for an hour max, was the overnight sockbun! Those curls would last & last!! You’re so beautiful Carlin inside & out!!! It’s so wonderful seeing you healthy. I’m recovering from Lyme Disease and used to struggle with Lyme seizures. I didn’t drive for a long time. My son had lasik 6 years ago. He had a great experience. The first night was rough, not gonna lie, but after that, he did great, and he never regretted it. You will be fine.

A great video as always. I had Lasik Surgery about a year ago. At the same time they did the cataracts as well. I was sedated, which means I was awake, but couldn't feel anything, And I don't really remember the surgery. However I did feel some pressure with the second eye was done. From what I understand if you're having just the Lasik your eyes are numb before hand. Also if they don't mention it I'd ask if they give something for the anxiety if needed. Some doctors do this as well. You should get a recovery sheet with the eyedrops and instructions for afterward. Also I would make sure your Doctor comes highly recommended. I'm sure it will all go well for you. And also I love seeing your kids with both sets of Grandparents. They are so cute. I know how sweet our grandson is and important in our life. So I love seeing others spend family time together is wonderful Take care.

I had laser eye surgery done years ago (at age 20) and they regressed and I had to start wearing contacts and glasses again 10 years later. You can smell it and it feels very weird. But I’m glad I did it at that time. If you want the “lifetime” I would read the fine print. I think you have to have eye exams done there every year or something. Just make sure you know what is expected of you to keep that warranty. I haven’t been back to my laser eye place (I moved very far away from there) and would not be able to have it done again for free, although I got the “lifetime warranty.”.. if that makes sense. Good luck!

I has lasik done when I was 21. I didn’t want to do it either since it freaked me out to mess with my eyes. But my dad kept pushing me to look into it since my vision was about -5 and when he offered to pay half, I finally agreed lol. I did need a touch up 3 months later which we expected since my vision was terrible to start. Definitely worth it. They gave me a rolled up towel to grip while they did the procedure which was helpful especially when they were making the flap.

Evan, your eyes are NOT BAD, mine are -5 and -4. -3 is not bad!!!! I pray you have a good surgery! If you ever need anymore answers about eyes, non surgery alternatives, i highly recommend you check out the Bates method. Its an alternative therapy for eye problems and ive been practicing it for six months and my eyesight has greatly improved! Its totally free as you can just read Bates book, or you can get in contact with a Bates practitioner. Being that his name was Bates, i think its at least worth looking into for you, heck he might even be Carlins relative😄

My adult son considered Lasix until at the consult the Dr told him that it needs to be redone every 10 years. Did your Dr tell you that? It's not cheap surgery either unless you have great eye insurance. Even then my son's only paid for a certain number of times and then it wouldn't be covered. He ended up opting out because finding out it is not permanent made him change his mind. He was concerned that operating on his eyes every 10 years couldn't possibly be a good thing after a few times. He is early 30's and, like he said, it's not reversible so it is a lifetime commitment. I was just wondering if your Dr said anything similar? He went back to contacts for now. I just wonder if you could share what you were told or if my son went to a money making Dr (because there are those sort of Drs out there that make a lot of money doing procedures that have big profit margins for them). Thanks if you share, no problem if you don't care to share. I have heard it from friends and others that it is true so I don't know what to think. Everyone loves the result, it is just the long term commitment that is sketchy.

I never had it done, but a friend of mine got it done and was told that she should wait until she's a little older to get it done. Because when your young your eyes haven't finish "changing" and that would mean you have to get it done again at a later date. But it shouldn't have to he done every 10yrs. I'd get a different consult. Just my opinion of course. I'm thinking about getting it done myself.
