You pay roughly $2000-3000 *per eye* for Lasik eye surgery so whatever clinic you go too to get it done, that Doctor and staff better be nothing but sugar and spice from the moment you first walk in the door for a consult til the moment you leave after getting the surgery done. lol If they're not dripping with kindness and professionalism when you go in for that very first consultation, you need to turn around immediately and don't look back. Never forget you're paying them big bucks and doing them the favor for choosing their clinic to do the job.

I had Lasiks and that first day of surgery was so painful I begged my family to leave so I could sleep and not feel my eyes...then it got totally better the next day! Congratulations, Evan! I'm proud of you. I've had caterac surgery and injection in the eye for Maculat Degeneration and it is kinda scary. Carlin I love how you tease him but end up pampering him. My husband also had LASIK back in 2015. He never regretted it. Hasn't had any issues at all since. He has to wear sunglasses outside for like 6 months to a year after but that's nothing. Congratulations.

Evan take a breath. It’s OK I had both of my lenses replaced. Lasik is nothing compared to that. They literally take the lens out of your eyeball and you go blind. They pop a new lenses back in. You’re totally awake. You do not feel nothing. You just know when you get that lens back in you can see everything. I’m sure you’re recovering just fine! 💕💕

You’re very brave, Evan. Kudos to you for stepping up and embracing your “fear”. I am all for “elective” medical procedures that make our lives easier. But I am squeamish about my eyes. Bc we can’t repacked the. So I do as little as possible to irritate them. This is one procedure I never considered bc of that very small percentage of what could go wrong. Now I’m too old so it won’t help me anymore. Unfortunately.

Did you give Dr. Stewart a Stew Crew hat? 😊. I think they say no cologne because of other patients or even staff that are allergic to certain smells. Some people get really bad headaches. I work in a hospital and we’re not allowed to wear perfume. Also, life insurance is a must if you can afford it. I seen first hand how it helps a family. My brother in law passed away at the age of 47 from cancer. My sister had always been a stay home mom. Having life insurance she was able to pay off her house. My brother in law before he passed away told me to make sure she did and that he didn’t care what else she did with the money. The only thing he wanted was for her and kids to always have a place to live! So glad your surgery went good Evan!

Had it done. They gave me Valium to chew. The worse thing about the surgery was the thing that held your eyelids open. Afterwards it was so bright I couldn't see and it hurt. By evening I was fine and could see great.
