Surgical Tourism: Mother Of Three Dies After Botched Butt-Lift Surgery In Turkey

A British mother-of-three has died days after she had a Brazilian bum-lift operation in Turkey.
Demi Agoglia, 26, of Salford, Greater Manchester, reportedly became ill despite doctors initially declaring her surgery last Thursday was successful.
Dr Tijion Esho tells TalkTV’s Vanessa Felts that this is the ‘most’ dangerous of all surgical procedures concerning body modification.

I'm an ER nurse in southern CA, we get patients all the time from Mexico with horrible post op complications. Infections, breast implants used in the butt and disfigurement. Patients have no recourse. No malpractice in Mexico. Sad, sad sad.

If they only did a little research on the reason WHY the operation was banned and restrictions enforced, instead of going for the cheap version, all these unnecessary deaths could be prevented. Sadly this mother prioritized beauty over family life and safety. Wishing the best for her kids and family, whom are left with the pain of an unnecessary loss.

An ambulance vs taxi? the heart attack was coming regardless. I mean yeah she’d have gotten cpr quicker but that’s not to say that would’ve saved her. Especially if it was a fat embolism. After care/ post op transportation isn’t the issue. It was the surgery!
