I opened 2 of the Pokemon center ETBs. Card quality was really good. No big hits but the promos and cards I did get were all very well centered with no issues to speak of. I’m collecting the stamped promos and grading them so I’m glad I got lucky

Got a case of etbs. None of the promos were close to centered and not a single sir. Pokemon can't release booster boxes with guaranteed hits like they do in Japan and the simple reason is that this would affect rarity by a serious margin. English releases are a lot bigger than Japanese ones (production-wise) because the target audience is incredibly bigger. Imagine how many more hyper rare or sir cards Pokemon would have to print! There's just no point!

Im more worried about prismatic evolution if the pull rates stay the same which i imagine they will be. It's one thing to have a main set be hard to find with these pull rates and another thing to have a specialty set have those bad pull rates. I've not seen preorders go so fast on sites like best buy and gamestop. I'm hoping they print it closer to crown zenith than 151.

This set has been really good for me O_o. 18 packs in and pulled Lisia’s Appeal SIR, tatsugiri ex (reg and FA), latias ex FA, B. Kyurem ex FA, Milotic ex (reg. and FA), Palossand ex (reg) and 1 ace spec. 12 sleeved boosters (picked randomly from the case) and 1 booster bundle. Dont know if this will help, but that’s how insane my luck has been as of late. Best of luck with everyone’s pulls!

I'm very concerned with the quality control so far. Opened a booster box and 2 3-pack blisters and the SIR and 4 IR's I pulled all had some damage to them in some capacity. That's unacceptable.

My ETB was pretty brutal. 2 Ace Specs and 1 EX. I’ve got another ETB and BB on the way, and I did also manage to snag 2 PC ETBs this morning on restock (UK based) - hoping for better luck 😂 Cracking 1 PC ETB and keeping the other sealed… Choosing which one to open is gonna be tough.

Hey Danny, did you find any packs with a double hit? I bought an ETB and both versions of the three-pack blister. The ETB was pretty mid, but then I pulled an ACE spec, followed by Pikachu SIR from one pack out of one of the blisters... 🤯 I just stared at it for minutes in disbelief. I definetely believe there are less of certain chase cards seeded into the set to make them rarer. I say this because i can easily pull all the other cards that are not chases or hold much value but the ones that are chases are wayyyyyy harder to pull. Like ill pull 7 vivillion IRs but not a single ceruledge or latios IR. Same for SIRs. I see more of the lower end SIRs getting pulled by me and others than the chase SIRs. This is how every single set goes. The expensive cards barely ever get pulled and the cheap ones just flow out of the packs no problem. Until i pull the chase card multiple times as opposed to the others that hold no value, my mind is set.

The amount of regular holos in the set feels really low, opend a box and the amount of duplicates are crazy, when I checkt the card list there are only 16 diffirent hollows. Not counting ex cards etc. They could really have had some more of those =/
