Suriname wildlife

Suriname is the greenest country in the world and this means that over 80% of the land is covered with tropical rainforrest. It also has more than thousands of unic species living in the Guyana triangle. A big opportunity for me to capture a small portion of this beauty. After a period of three weeks in Suriname i was astonished by the overwhelming beatuty of this country and i only have scratched the surface of the richness that lies hidden in the jungle.

Op 8min en 40sec weg na apoera welke vogel maakte dat geluid zoo

Op 8 min 40 is de roep van de screaming piha (Lipaugus vociferans) te horen.

@@jasperschiphof4228 Dank je Jasper. Dat geluid is voor mij echt het geluid van de Surinaamse Jungle. Ik wist alleen nooit welke vogel dat was. Nu snap ik waarom omdat de screaming piha een klein onopvallend vogeltje is. Bedankt voor het delen van je kennis.
