One kid* The two are orphans that got rescued by the original owner of Model Z, and since he could only save one the other probably never knew they were compatible with the M.E.G.A. System. On the ZXA it's more clear, since the female and male MCs are wildly different (the boy is an abandoned robot while the girl is a human outlaw). Either the attack is a Success and the girl becomes the Model A, or it fails and the boy is awakened by stray missiles.

@@AbigailHadwin-go8nk, they didn't call Megaman ZX for nothing. Model ZX is comprised of X's Intelligence and power, complete with the second charge shot, and Zero's high attack power with variable chip systems that allow you to learn moves or obtain enemy weapons.

It seems that the ZX cutscenes were animated with a much higher budget than the ones in Advent. A lot less stiff too.

Advent also played favorites with cutscenes. If you pay attention, the Ashe side cutscenes tended to be shorter than during Gray's route. Just look at how dramatic Aile's ZX:A debut was compared to Vent's

The Zero/ZX Collection for Switch has the tracks as additional dlc. In-game, there's a menu option where the different titles can be selected/deselected to play the remixed music in those specific titles. (Edit: I was wrong. Apparently, those are not the same.)

I'm only now learning that ZX is a fusion of both X and Z models Well mostly because you really can't tell that by the design

While they are a fusion is not entirely true, vent is the model X choosen one, and since X was the base to create all the models he is capable to "trick" the others biometals and allow vent to use them. So is not a real fusion. (that's why the choosen ones for the rest of the biometals have more complex and complete attacks)

Thank you! Megaman Zero Collection runs flawlessly on Linux through Steam Play/Proton, except that the ZX games cutscenes don't play. This is a convenient way to see them anyway.

Because it was modded. The soundtrack you're hearing is the official OST from Rockman ZX Tunes.
