Let's see you in the office of the president, having to deal with mass division, crises and other political/humanitarian issues in your home country, while also having to support an ally who's in the midst of another humanitarian crisis and is in need of help and support. I'm not saying that Biden is perfect or doing the best job, but I wouldn't act as if it's an easy thing to tackle the political mess in your own country as well as the geopolitics across the globe.

@@foxxygranpa87 I mostly agree. I think he's doing a fair job, but not the best. We needed someone more like FDR to get our country back to a functioning state, but he's what we got. He's got a lot on his plate, and he can't ignore what's going on at home nor can he ignore what's going on in other countries, so I don't fault him for helping Ukraine as long as he deals with the issue plaguing us here. I'm not totally aware of what he's doing for the border, and I'm not sure what the actual situation is there either; I know it's a crisis, but I hear statements from both sides about what's going on and I'm not sure which is accurate, if either are. I admittedly haven't looked into Kamala Harris' efforts to fix the situation at the southern border, either. As for inflation, I know that he passed the bipartisan Inflation Reduction Act, yet has had other roadblocks due to policy gridlocks and partisan division. There are also some factors driving inflation that he cannot address, such as China's extremely strict covid lockdown, affecting production and supply. I know that the EPA is working on the situation in East Palestine, Ohio, and that Biden and/or his administration have sent response and recovery efforts to aid in the cleanup and monitor the dangers it poses. Biden is set to visit East Palestine next week. I apologize if I came off as disrespectful in my first reply; it's upsetting to see people shrug off one tragedy to being attention to another.

Russia's war is safer to visit than the war in Iraq because the capital city of Ukraine is safe and not under constant attack. Threats, sure, but Kyiv is not actively under immediate or constant attack; the government has also not abandoned its people nor has it been taken over by a radical regime; finally, we are and have been allies with Ukraine. All of that makes it much, much safer and easier for the US president to visit Ukraine, as opposed to the ability of the US President to visit Iraq. If we want to get into specifics -- Joe Biden was a US senator in 2003, and did not have the power to influence anything in Iraq had he gone. He did, however, push Bush to take immediate and forceful action in Iraq, along with 76 other senators. The sitting president in 2003, George W. Bush, who had power and influence in Iraq, did go to Baghdad on Thanksgiving of 2003, paying a surprise visit. To sum it all up: asking such questions such as those you asked are frivolous, as the answers to them are obvious and pointless.
