I remember the first time I saw a man kiss his toddler son on TV. I was a preteen and I remember thinking that it was odd and gross. I honestly thought that this kind of "intimacy" was reserved only for couples. As I grew older I realized that this affection was quite normal and necessary. But growing up in a single mom household where affection was shunned had warped my sense of love. It's truly refreshing to see a man, especially a black man exhibit this love and affection so freely and naturally with his children, particularly boy child. Such things are positive affirmations that actually alter their sense of security in this world. And it is clear that the boys understand how to demonstrate their love for each other also. We see it all the time in the vlogs. Their bond is a true joy to witness.
