What a great platform for RV's! Imagine a solar roof and charging at the camp grounds. I hope GM does conversion platform.

That 100k battery warranty seems light.

Just don't think about one if you live in Florida or other flood frequent areas. Batteries on these things will explode when in contact with salt water.

Thank you for the info on the new vans. All-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles represent a new demand for electricity. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and all-electric vehicles (EVs)-collectively referred to as plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs)-store electricity in batteries to power one or more electric motors. The batteries are charged primarily by plugging in to off-board sources of electricity, produced from natural gas, coal, nuclear energy, wind energy, hydropower, and solar energy. EVs, as well as PHEVs operating in all-electric mode, do not produce tailpipe emissions. However, there are emissions associated with the majority of electricity production in the United States. The amount of energy produced by each source (Power Plant) depends on the mix of fuels and energy sources used in your area.

Wow 4wd. Huge windows. Hopefully clearance will be ok. Just waiting for more charging stations and a longer range. Great possibilities for Rv living - if clearance is OK. But GM give us some idea about consumer vans….

When are you making electric vans the masses, GM. I am tired of driving in these ancient gas vans. Commercial electric is THE low pass barrier for the work van market.

Do we have enough LITHIUM?

Nope. Lithium mining is ramping up. It will be the new boom industry.

Price per mile will force gas/diesel extinct… bye bye inefficient small motor combustion! ⚡️

Not if the cost of utilities and materials keeps going north for EVs. Lithium is up about 3,000% in the past 15 years, and electricity rates keep going up and up. Electricity rates are up 10-15% just this year, and expected to keep shooting up. When all these EV vans start charging, imagine how pricy things will get.
