Surprise House Move While Hubby Was at Work!

The fixer upper was finished two weeks ahead of schedule, so my sisters helped me pull off a big surprise!

My husband and I lived in 900 sq ft. Home for 14years. We were blessed to be able to build our dream home that was 3,000 sq ft.. I know exactly how you feel about the special memories in that small house. The day we left for the last time, we stood in the kitchen in a tight embrace and cried like babies! I’ve helped both my children move in the past 2 years and it was no easy feat! The fact that you packed and moved everything in 4-5 hours is pretty impressive, especially with 4 young children! My son’s move from a small apartment to his first house took twice as long (granted, we only had 4 adults). I understand the need to say goodbye to a home. My 100 year old mom passed away last year and we, her children, sold the family home a few months later. It was a very emotional experience to clear out her belongings and let our childhood home go. I shed quite a few tears when I took my final walk through.

Jessa, Loved seeing all of your Pictures of the past !! We moved an hr. And a half West of Katy,TX where I was raised all of my life!! I'm 58 . What a Change but we are making new Memories!! I do miss Katy, and My Daughter and 2 of my Grandson's are still there! Boy , do I miss them!! I was their babysitter and ,( I'm a Paraplegic) NY Daughter was My care - Giver...
