Thanks for watching! It goes a long way to helping me and the channel if you would consider a like and/or subscribe! Also consider the ramifications of a train going east at 55mph and a plane going straight up at 2000 mph. When will the two meet?

The intro was a tutorial, I'm ok with it. I'm loving it so far.

Yeah, I’m getting the sense I’m alone on disliking the intro haha. Glad you’re loving it-it is an amazing game.

I genuinely fell in love with this game. The puzzles are insane. The areas were so well designed. The open ended gameplay in each level feels so great, and the humour of the stealth combat is top notch. Yeah the enemy AI sucks ass, but I’m willing to forgive when there’s such a good story and brilliant game design on display here otherwise

Totally agree. I think the AI is tuned to the right kind of stupid to make Indy feel “lucky”.
@P-dub97816 сағат бұрын
I think the AI is accurate, the bad guys in the movies are pretty stupid lol

@ ha! Yeah I’d agree, but from a gaming perspective, I’d like a little bit more of a challenge. But as an Indy experience, top notch game
@adityasivaram617511 сағат бұрын
@@vigvillain I’m okay with that. I’m used to playing more difficult stealth games, where NPCs had actual peripheral vision and not just straight visibility lines lmao, so I came in with that expectation, but you’re right. As an Indy experience it makes complete sense

The point of the opening is basically to rewrite fan's minds and to say...."No, this ACTUALLY is Indiana Jones....regardless of who's doing the voice, this is your beloved character" it was absolutely brilliant. Having that scene happen with troy voicing and seeing how good it was immediately convinced me that the game was going to be something special. I really feel like aside from just the fun of reliving that scene that was the primary purpose. With the small callbacks to Marion's voice and the scene with him and Marcus drinking we get a sense of the pain he's dealing with and the fact that this game would give a chance to more deeply explore his character. I don't think the immersion would happen nearly as fast if the did not get that opening scene. Fans of this movie are very hard to win over.

That’s a good point! But I still think an original “cold open” would have been a better tutorial. For me, the opening just didn’t have the impact of the rest of the game because it felt like a lesser version of the film, whereas the rest of the game felt like a forgotten entry in the franchise.
@tomswaine26922 күн бұрын
The opening is a tutorial, you Pelican 😂, fun and familiar while you learn some basic controls
@vigvillain2 күн бұрын
Fair enough, I just would have preferred a NEW cold open for the tutorial, rather than merely aping the film.
@tomswaine26922 күн бұрын
@vigvillain yeah, I suppose it's a bit of a signature move to have an extra little bonus adventure at the start of an Indiana Jones adventure

@@vigvillain no, and fans wouldn't;t have wanted something new.. .for a FAN.. choosing to play through the start of raiders of the lost ark was the best choice , EVERY fan would love to have done that, and we've waited 40 years to do it...

@@adamblackedition5529 I loved it and thought it was cool but for the sequel I'd prefer a completely new and original cold open for the game.

This is part of the trilogy, and the last two didn’t happen😂 Indiana jones did not age he just walked into the sunset so the last two movies didn’t exist
