What was really interesting about the SBA Is that even though it was broadstruck ( I’m not sure if I got the error right) the inner edges were still geometrically similar to the regular SBA. I, for one, would send this out to be graded and have the error authenticated. I’m sure that it would definitely bring a much higher price.

You’d be surprised, because to send that SBA to NGC, you’re paying shipping there and back (~$20) then grading fee (~$16) and last but not least an additional $18 just for them to put a “Mint Error” attribute on label. That’s over $50 just to get it graded. Seeing it sell for $99 raw, couldn’t imagine it selling for much over $120/150 range in plastic holder. I would slab if planning to keep in personal collection. But the best bang for buck would be flip it raw like the seller did 🪙

Lots of good stuff today thanks. Have a couple coins that I would like to have your thoughts on. I hear you talk about a drilling wash. I have one like that but it also goes halfway through his cheek like a sword scar. Also have a p Penney with a very little hole in the edge tha came out of full a full unopened box of 2024,s from the bank you can barely see it. Can’t see how it could be damage.
