I LOVE the beds and the ceiling and all the galaxy space stuff, I don’t feel like the lego mural matched the vibe of the rest of the room though, I would have done a more solid accent wall, that’s just me though 🥰

I agree! I think they probably had to give Lego a design early and then changed the rest of the design later so it was better for the girls but didn’t really match the Lego.

My mom did that Galaxy sponge painting technique on our kitchen ceiling, it had an entire dropped lighted ceiling in the entire center with a stained glass piece in the center that was on its own dimmer switch, when I was in junior high (so 1995). My dad thought she was crazy when she told him what she was doing, but ended up loving it when it was done. It looked so good that the people that bought our house from us, and the people that bought it from them ended up keeping it. I think it was changed by the last buyers, but it did last a good 20 years throughout all the different owners.
