I was always taught, I have personally found training, that it's better to grab the wrist and not the sleeve, because the sleeve leaves them too much slack to retract or adjust their arm.

There’s some merit to that. The wrist grip is easy for top player to break. But if you grab and go quick it will probably stabilize the arm better. 🤙🏻

I play a lot of lapel/lasso/C&S guard and bigger opponents tend to threaten double unders on me. I already so the foot on the hips with double sleeve grips but I love the shoulder lock sub addition. Can't wait to try it, thanks!

Works well if you hit it quick, either way it’s a great way to negate their pass attempt
