Is this the same with no gi using a collar tie? Do i have to be closer to them when dropping to the ground?

For the first drill, isn’t it mean to knee your training partner in the groin? How can I do this move without having my training partner knife me in the parking lot?

Hi Aaron, I know that you are not very active now but I´ve recently bought your BJJ Fanatics leg drag instructional because I love your channel. I just wonder why you prefer the leg drag to the truck/twister hook. Is there any particular reason? Why go to the leg drag position when you can potentially take the back early. I assume you can get more point doing so if you pass the guard or take the back next but are you not losing a greater submission position? greetings from spain.

I think this is the best video I've seen Aaron This is a position I'm just really starting to explore as a purple belt 💜 and I've found if I use the position as it appears in most videos, my hook feels really week and makes me feel like there's some sort of flexibility/body shape thing However I can see that the details you add, such as bringing your hwad towards the offside foot, will certainly make it playable for anyone Thanks Aaron

Cool! I assumed you would always PUSH with the lapel hand, is that never the case, or is pulling just in the cross scenario? (As in same side = push, cross side = "wheel like pull")

Watched this as a new purple belt. Brown belt now and these are the only ones I use. Watched this video back then and it was game changing. Drill it so it's second nature. Jiu jitsu is never stagnant in the moment. This video gives you 3 real reactions to your attempt to pass. Needs to be second nature. Thank you for this video, amazing
