Surprise Surprise First one ever finding at the old 1820’s Farm / Metal Detecting / Equinox 600

Well surprise me after all of this time detecting the old farm I finally found an old piece of a car. Didn’t expect to find one. There will be two parts to this video. Hey Tony been gawd awful hot here too buddy. Need rain real bad. The ground is Rock hard. The button is a rivet. The stem has been broke off. Those cap guns are made of pop metal which rings real high.

Yeah. Hope both areas get some good rain soon. Definitely need it. Thinking about detecting the water soon. Yeah if I remember right that cap gun piece rang up around mid 20’s. I can’t remember exactly. Thanks for watching buddy.

Another great hunt buddy! We went detecting the other day and the ground was so dry it was like digging concrete! That one thing looked like a suspender clip maybe? Lots of good finds buddy!

Hi Tony! I don't like square nails either, but I do enjoy finding them when they are complete and clean looking. Also a great tell that there is old history on a location. Sweet clasp and wheatie! I've found a couple of those valve stems and have one on display with a cap on it. Wicked happy hunting! 👊

Thanks buddy. The square nails surely tell a story that’s for sure. But boy they ring up about a 16/17 on the equinox. But with this ground so dry everything was a scratchy signal. I’m guessing that was the reason. Thanks for watching buddy.

@JusDirtfishin it's been super hot and dry here too! Couple if humid 93 degree days. We had one night of rain a few days ago and it's dry as a bone again!

I think we hit one day at 101. But it was scorching. The sweat would just start pouring as soon as you walked outside. Rained yesterday morning but didn’t amount to anything.

Hot and dry, I finally detected in the river near a swimming hole and found fishing lures and a cheap wedding band. It felt nice in the water though. I like that valve stem, the long ones were made to go through wooden wheels so you have one from back in the teens or 20s.
