Can see their business hurting though, liquidated watches and lost a good amount (to be expected) and mainly taking consignment as seem too scared to take a risk holding stock.

Grey market dealers saying they haven't taken losses in the last 12 months are full of 💩. You also have to be pretty dumb to buy extremely high priced inventory in this kind of market without doing so at a steep discount. Consignment is not about being scared. It's about being smart due to a higher risk-adjusted return.

I say they are doing smart business. If they are going to stock a watch they need to get it a discount to protect from the market moving down before it’s sold. The consignments are a great way because it’s works for both buyer and seller. I’m sure if you want to sell some Rolex watches at a discount they will buy them if in good condition. I would say they are smarter then 90 percent of the watch dealers.

Suggestion: I know you guys are probably still getting a ton of views every time you post a video but recent videos seem to be lacking some of that Miami flavor of earlier videos IMO. I mean there seems to be a ton of watch videos now and everyone and their brother/sister is coming on with comments about this Rolex or that Patek but after a while how many times can you hear about selling/buying watches over and over again before it gets a little tedious? When you show the Miami/South Florida nightlife, the Cuban vacations and the other areas of interest in the Magic City I think your channel will offer a more diverse and entertaining content then ALL THE OTHER WATCH videos on KZbin now, After all aren't these watches about luxury, fun and living large? "Watch Eric's" channel used to do that and I found it intriguing but he's not doing it anymore so maybe I'm wrong since he stopped but for me it was the main reason I watched his videos rather then just some guy just sitting behind a desk or store counter taking watches. Again just my opinion and still like your content though. Best wishes for your continued success.

In fact, I think we're the only dealer that actually splatters our loses throughout our videos. We don't pretend that things are rosy or that we're immune to the downtown and what's going on, unlike a lot of other dealers. What we haven't been recording as much as before is the content outside of the store, content on the boat, Miami footage, etc. We need to start doing more of that, but the reality is that things are not like they used to be, so you have to cut back to be better positioned when things actually improve. Do you feel that the personal content is the area that we've mostly been lacking on? I seriously appreciate your feedback and think it'll definitely help us improve.
