@@vocaspiration5242 It was shown that the boss would have been fired anyways because someone recorded him and it was also shown that Kobayashi just likes liquor and that she wasn't doing it as a cope since she still drinks with Makoto after work. Compared to the average japanese salary man her life was pretty normal which is why I think people misinterpret her as being overworked when in reality her job works on a quota system where you have a quota and as long as it's fulfilled you'll be fine but if you're good enough you can take on more which was shown by the episode where Elma thought that they were being overworked but it was shown that it isn't so bad and she came on after the bad boss was fired.

I love how much Tohru and Kobayashi have grown together. And I love this ending. I do lowkey wish Kobayashi had returned some of Tohru's feelings earlier in the episode instead of being a troll, but her laugh at the end more than made up for it imo. I love this series. It's very weird at times, but it's also got a lot of heart put into it. Here's hoping for a season 3 in the future!

I suppose too much experience of shows across the history of TV that handled resolutions poorly and lessened audience interest in the characters. In any case, we'll be waiting till the very last episode for resolution no matter how closely they keep to the comic
