Surprise Wedding Proposal

On August, 31st 2017 I surprised my girlfriend of over two years with a wedding proposal at a church we attend together. Joy is a piano teacher, so I thought I would teach myself how to play the piano. I had some help from the church band who took it to another level!
After four months of learning & practicing on my own, I was ready to make my move!
Unfortunately, for all the planning I did Joy's brother ruined the surprise 30 minutes before the proposal. Thankfully he didn't know all the details, so that was a positive. Not much of a story to tell. He just didn't approve because Joy & I have an age difference.
I can't say I wasn't devastated that the surprise got revealed, but she still said yes & that's all that matters.
The first song was by Tim Mcgraw, Humble & Kind. I do not own the rights, but I do love the song. My dad passed away when I was 18 & he loved Tim Mcgraw so to me it felt like he was there with us.
The second song was by Charlie Puth, One Call Away. I love this song, but I do not own the rights to this song either. The version I played was doable given my piano experience. Haha.

@@justglenn1037 I had a photographer but never planned on a video. Did not have a videographer. So I tried piecing together what we had. But this video was never meant to be. Looking back wish I had a videographer.

I was diagnosed with MS several years back, it took over and changed my life. One day after being able to get out of that darn wheelchair, I went for a walk to a local bar and had a cheese burger and a beer. ( it was all I could afford that day. ) That was the day I met Donna. The beginning of something very special happened. We fell in love. After 2 years of being together almost every day, she helping me when my body would not play nice and me helping her with sharing that special part of me she deserved ( my love ) Winter was almost over and on a Saturday night, I stopped by her place to use her internet and download some songs I wanted to learn how to play. ( that was my decoy plan ) I had used most of my savings to live off of as the MS took over my health again. I did some side work, photography and some carpentry to help me buy the ring. That evening we shared a wonderful time watching movies and me playing guitar for her. I made a special dinner that night, set the table, dimmed the lights, had her favorite music playing and waited. We had such a wonderful evening, I went home that night and looked at the ring I had bought, it wasn't too fancy or expensive yet it was for her. Upon waking up the next morning, I got all gussied up in my best tye dye/ jeans combo ( j/k suit and tie ) and went to wake her up to propose. Arriving at her place I was greeted by a neighbor and the police. I was taken off to the police station for questioning. I had no idea what was going on. The questioning got really personal, then they told me she had passed away during the night. That ring still sits here buy me. To my dearest love, I know you can hear me. I still love you. Some day soon, we will be together once again. I'm 61 and my MS is in a remission thing right now. I live each day as it were my last. I help others regardless of race creed or religious belief, that was always my thing, being nice to others and giving rather than receiving. Love is ever lasting

Thanks for all the feedback. We just planned on taking a few photos, but the photographer took some short video clips so I decided to edit them in which I've never done before and it's clear that you guys can tell that LOL. I guess I never planned on more than a few friends and family members to see it. I wish he would have taken video of the whole thing I would have displayed it from beginning to end without all the pictures if I would have known that it would get this many views. Sorry. Wish it was a better edit.
