We used to fish creeks like that all the time when we were kids. Back when we still had an imagination we could wade through a culvert that ran back behind a busy shopping center and, in our minds, it may as well have been the Amazon River. It seemed like every corner of world was teaming with life. Those creeks were full of frogs, snakes, crawdads, minnows, and bluegill. I remember catching a catfish in a little drainage ditch once. It seemed huge back then. Fun video. I might throw my rod in my work van today.

Sadly those creeks are too full of trash nowadays, if you eat anything from a creek like that you'll get food poisoning or even lead poisoning or copper poisoning or poison poisoning or brake fluid poisoning or blinker fluid poisoning or just get sick because of the poor water quality
