You are so blessed!! I believe your well is a natural spring fed well! Should try to get a fine mesh net and skim the little dirt and trash that's floating on the top and recap it the way it was originally and put a pump, maybe an old timey pump! Draught or not, you'll never run out of fresh spring water! I would imagine that your water sample came back good?

I know Ralph Doss’s (Grandpa Doss) dog had trouble with her joints. The vet called it Growing pains. He had to give her something for it. It was making her ache. Hope Russell doesn’t get that bad. I think she got over it later.

Kevin I really enjoyed seeing in the old well. It did look like it went deeper. I wish you knew someone that would be willing to go down in the well - on a rope of course. Super good time to clean out your ponds. Boy you guys definitely need some rain though. We do too, we're in AZ and in desperate need of rain. My neighbor had a dog like Russell and they gave it medicine for the pain. It is from them growing too fast and they are in pain. He will grow out of it or into it lol. I love your farm and watching you feed all the animals. Your channel is one of my favorites. I have been with you awhile.

Yep it's time to make the pond deeper and maybe bigger. It appears Mr. Russell's paw is getting better. It's probably a sprang on one of his toes or the back of the paw. Get better tuff kid. The video of the well was awesome. Why do want to drain the well? Is it to get fresher water filled back up? One couldn't be claustrophobic building that well. 😊
