Your videos are great Oliver. Wonderful cinematography of your adventures, you’re an excellent rider too. I like the up to the minute commentary from your helmet microphone and camera. The best part is the camaraderie between friends sharing a meal and a BEER! Now I want one so I’m going to have a beer right now.😅🍺

Brave trip you did there. Im from Croatia and know all these terrains and people needs balls to ride them :D But why i came here to post is that im shocked how they cleared all the bushes from Željava and made it look good for all the visitors. I was in countless times and the last time i was there was 2017 and you could not enter it with bike. It was full of obstacles and even the plane outside was barely visible and hard to reach. Cheers from Pula,Croatia :)

Thank you very much 😉 the airbase has become a hot spot for motorcycle riders now it seems. I hope it will remain accessible in the future. We will go back to the balkans again this year- a beautiful area to ride a bike 😉

You have to be prepared for the most crazy drivers in Europe. They drive by their own rules, because they all bought their driving license from the local mafia, according to the local friends I made during my trip in June 2023. Albanians are friendly, helpful and very informal people. It is easy to make contact if you do something about it yourself with a little humor and Italian gestures. That's how wordless communication works. Next time you drive towards Valbones, try the Alpin hotel on the way up there. Located solo out in dense forest by the route up there. Excellent and familiar.

Thank you for the trip. It’s very likely that I will go back to Albania again - that goes for the entire Balkan - such a great area to explore on a motorcycle 😉

I agree. I went in june and had a lot of rain every day. From 2 clock to 4.30 it was raining cats and dogs. So next time it will be late august and september. @@MotoVibes

Hi Oliver, another great video but I have to say this is the first one I've seen where riders have actually gon so far into the cold war hanger, especially with so much crap lying around. Ride safe freind.
@MotoVibes9 ай бұрын
Thank you very much - the hanger was quite spooky 😂 but we had good lights which helped but we were a little worried to take away a tire puncture- there is a lot debris in there

Great stuff again mate :D I will use this for my planing for this years TET Trip. Did you ever consider to switch to lighter bikes? Given the number of times that you had to turn around on this trip :D Also I dont think that you can do much more with coarser tyres, I did my reseach for my trip on the TET last year and it didnt seem like you could gain a significantly better handling in mud with coarser tyres on an adventure bike. They are just too heavy, which will pull them down slopes anyways. Only if you go to crazy with the nobbys. And then you practically cant ride highways or twistys anymore :D

Love your videos! Sitting here in -35 cold in northern Sweden bingewatching your videos. Again... What kind of holder/bracket (Navihalter) do you have for your garmin? Doesnt the weight from the navi break the screen plastic holder "things"? Especially on bad roads?
