I love the new tones your Kemper is providing. The time was right to move from your reference standard we all enjoyed, and were able to get great examples of tones we could interpret easily, and achieve the multi-amp dimension. Do not doubt that your channel was the standard for guitars that the public can afford and relate to, as well as the gear.

I have the red one with Roswell PU's. I changed the bridge into a Schaller 3d.. The tuners are now HB locking tuners and have a Graph Tech nut. All hardware is changed from chrome to black. This guitar is awesome. The playability as sound is realy great. This guitar stays in my collection because it's one of my favourites!

I got pretty lucky with my TE-90QM in red with the Roswell P90s. I play mostly clean, the frets were leveled, the neck was excellent, I like my action ultra low with 12-62 Ernie Ball Mammoth slinky’s (tuned E to E) and I adjusted pole pieces to my liking on the pickups... I got something that’s pretty and sounds good and inspires me! I’ve owned a lot of guitars, have played for 7 years, and this is the best guitar I have owned and I’ve owned some nice stuff!

Thanks for the video, I've been google eyed for these guitars for a while! They had to change away from rosewood fret boards a few years back, because for the Cites regulations, and that is changing again. Actually that was a good thing, we now have more fret board options.

I've seen they've also changed some bits in the HWY25. the 90 or so euro one. It's now full matte black and apparently they fixed the tuning issues it had

Yeah I miss that good old Wilkinson pup era :D I just cant stand these Roswell pickups! I tried almost all of them and none really impressed me. Maybe the neck LAF humbucker was fine but rest kind of sucks! Im waiting for them to stop using those dreaded Blackwood and Roseacer as I cant stand any of them! Im glad to see Pau Ferro and Amaranth being used instead on some models! We need those old Wilkinson pups again as Im sick and tired of buying new pups for these Roswell models! Roswells sound great into VSTs and Multi FX units but not good into actual amps (in my opinion).

Hey Cory, i have not seen this Harley Benton TE-90 (or ANY other TE Style Hollow Body or Harley Benton) in a Green like this. I am in the US, but i even looked at the non US site version of Thomman, and i do not see that green te style guitar listed anywhere on Thomman. Where/How did you get that???? different retailer? Help! I love it!

Great video goes into great detail about the guitar and made me purchase one myself! I really like the the older color better but I just got the new one in and I’ve been playing it for a week and I’m really loving it. The blue looks better then I expected! And the f holes are a tad bigger but they are still in the same spot on my model they aren’t slid up.

Mine is from 2020 but it has the bridge and F holes exactly like the old model. The color and the brand sticker are those of the new one. I think at HB they immediately understood that the old model was better and immediately went back.

I like the old style body with the framed bridge. It looks like the newer version is inferior to me. The fretboard is now Amaranth instead of Roseacre.

The body changes have been reverted. The guitar is the same color as before and the f-holes are smaller again. At least if the website is to be believed. I think the photos are real though because the headstock features the new logo. The bridge is also the one with the frame, the only difference now are the pickups, they are the rosewill ones.

Whoa.. I can't believe the changes they've made. I bought a red p90 in may/june this year 2019. and it's the older style. but with roswell p90. Otherwise the same as your 2016 HH, with the older bridge. Maybe one other difference, there's no back cap sandwich on mine. it's 3 piece butchers block with a top cap of mahogany (?) and the maple quilt veneer. I was not sure whether it was veneer or photo, but there is some chatoyance so must be veneer. Has a made in indonesia decal on the rear of the headstock. New HB logo on the front. what's irritating is that I left a glowing review on Thomann site, but the te-90 qm is now very different to the one I reviewed in june 2019.

Please please please Harley Benton make more high end tele's like the Fusion series with strats. I like all black guitars but a tele in this bluish green (or the sparkly bluish green from that one Fusion strat with the red back) with P90s would definitely make me change my mind.

Interesting update: Last week i bought the t90 with hb at Thomann as a b-stock. It was greenish, with the old f-hole Position, the old (better) bridge and the new Roswell PU, which I really love. The fret ends were very sharp. So i sent it back. Yesterday i received both. The one with hb and p90. The hb was all deep blue, again the old bridge and f-hole position and with Roswells. Same the p90 one. So, there is not an old and a new Version, but at the moment an in beween version😉. So I'm very lucky, because i wanted the old bridge and the Roswells. In my opinion the greenish finish looked better. The p90 is also nice, but has less bass response and has to go back. The neck is absolutely beautiful on both ones. I hope the Information could help.

hey cory i had a question the ebony fretboards on harley benton fusions how do they feel they look more like rosewood so do they also feel closer to tht or do they feel like actuall ebony thats used on prs se and chapmans and such

I saw the guitar everyday so i didnt realise the fade.. Just realised it while editing and looking at the 2016 pics. Was very surprised.. Never had in mind that HBs could fade.

This guitar would perhaps work as an alternative humbukcer guitar to common LP style or PRS style guitars. HB should come up with a true hard tail (without tremolo system) Strat style guitar with the various pick ups it offers to the tele- style guitars.

Looks nice, but not sure anymore about HB quality, i bought 2 guitars from Thomann, 1 CST-24 and a DC-Custom, both came with issues, the CST-24 was a bad unit and had to return it the DC-Custom is a great player, but came to me with a broken volume... Cant trust HB on quality... I wanted a strat to my collection but was too scarred to go for a 3rd HB, so found a second hand almost new Yamaha Pacifica 112V, what a quality instrument for very low price!!! Guys look at Yamaha guitars too, 100% quality control and they are not expensive!!

I've said it before and I know you have quoted on my description of my TE-90qm that I had. Man I wanted the guitar to be good as it looked awesome in the pictures but I didn't like it at all! And I can't put my finger on what I didn't like it just didn't feel like a Tele! And I hated the colour of it it was so bright! It sounded very good but the tuners were garbage and I sold it within a month!

I bought 2 those blue ones in 18 months period and both were going back to Thomann. They dont look like anything on their website, looks very a i mean very cheap, that new blue color looks ugly as hell, no patenr under laquer whatsoever. Roswell pups sounds like ass, compared to old Wilkinson. Im still waiting when they will make the same as 3 years ago, then i'd definitely buy even two. But what they have now looks like expensive toys...not good.

This guys a really good player. That being said I found this video disappointing. Why? The whole dang things a headache. Distortion on the guitar ok but, can I hear maybe half of the video with clean tones so I’m hearing the guitar instead of pedals.? My 2 cents. Peace ☮️ out
