I love your humility but honestly you are exactly the type of client these stores should be rolling out the red carpet for. You like to shop! And you have the means to shop regularly. There simply aren't enough multi-millionaires to sustain these massive brands constantly seeking growth, there's plenty more like you and they know that. Great review! I was shocked how small the Kelly 25 is in person. Also, great point, if a person does not like the look of the Kelly not completely closed, this style is not for them. I absolutely love both my Kelly sellier and my retourne but every time I carry both I say to myself, "This bag is so hard to get into and out of, why do I want another" 😆

Great Video! K25 is my next wishlist bag this year so tu! I really like the DGAZ organizers a lot. I like the silky material so much more when compared to felt and switched some out for them if they had the option I needed. They are on Amazon and also have a website. Amazon worked for me and was fast shipping. So glad ur back ❤

I have the DGAZ organizer for my Kelly 25 in retourne! I like it a lot, it protects the inside of the bag because it is a silky material but it isn’t heavy. I just got mine on amazon!

I always felt K25 were small until I asked my SA to try one on. I was amazed at how much I could fit in and ordered a K25 as my special order. I also ordered the longest strap so I could wear it cross body.. I have the 7RP inserts for my Hermes bags, but a number of different types of inserts for my other bags. The 7RP have the right amount of stiffness (my Mai Tai are lovely, but the sides collapse, the felt liners are too stiff). Yes, they are very pricey but I look at the price of the bag and have decided it was worth it to me (plus, they do offer discounts from time to time.)

My 2 Kellys in sellier are still stiff as the first day! I prefer my kelly 25 in retourne, I feel it’s easier to use for me. But in general I prefer bags that are more giving, like I’m more of a Birkin girl if I’m honest. For my quota bags, I only buy Mai tai inserts, I really adore them! 🥰 And I’m like you, I wear my bags, they are NOT to sit on a shelf! Life is short, better enjoy what we get! As far as special treatment, my husband laughs each time I go shopping with my Birkin 25 in ostrich. I swear, I never have to wait but they also just show me the most expensive things in the store. 😂 Never wear that bag if I’m shopping without a budget. Ha ha ha

For me, tall but thin, kelly 25 is the perfect size. I have one in sellier and one in retourne. For me the kelly 25 retourne is the perfect thing. It is just easier and holds a bit more. I have a kelly 28 in retourne also. It is really big for me. Your sellier will soften up a little, mostly on the flap, but the body really won’t change much.

Ooh that is such good news-it’s the flap that I would like to soften up, and I’d love for the body to stay as-is. I’d love to get a retourne Kelly one day too, and I love that it can even fit a little more. I agree with you on the 28; I’ve tried it and it seems just a tad bit too big on my frame. Check out JennyKrafts for the organizer. They have K25 inserts for ~$30 and I think the quality is very good for the price. Let us know how if the leather softens over time. I have 2 K25 from 2017 and 2019 and they are still so stiff! But I rarely use them since I'm in SF too and afraid of theft. I totally agree with how difficult the K25 is to open. My first time opening I immediately understood why people get birkins, but K25 is still my favorite. Congrats on the bag, and great color choice!

please be careful when wearing your kelly! as you've noticed, it's very recognizable and this means also some criminals will know what it is. to them you are basically wearing $10k on your arm. there are even some gangs that have spotters working restaurants and bars, looking for people with expensive watches, jewelry, bags and cars. stay mindful of your surroundings and maybe don't wear it everywhere.

@@LilyShopsfunny how both positives and negatives of the wearing experience are amplified when wearing a very recognizable luxury item. it's exactly the same with watches (sorry...) - i have some very special ones that fly completely under the radar and then some more mainstream ones (basically any rolex) that grab a ton of attention - both the good kind and not so good kind... took a while to learn to navigate. the service thing is sooo true - though servers also expect bigger tips then! 😅
