I just installed a Vandemon slip-on. Pretty much a clone of the Akra slip-on. That same bolt that holds the exhaust clamp on, snapped for me too. I think all the exhaust weight is on that clamp, if you loosen all 4 hanger bolts before the clamp bolt..

Very cool. Any chance you could take a DB reading with and without the db muffler please? We have noise limits at UK trackdays and it’s very hard to come by this info to know if the bike would pass the tests. Cheers!

I have the Arrow Pro-Race exhaust on my bike, and it sounds nasty. The popping growl while maintaining throttle at lower RPMs is sexy, and you get a nice pop on shifts.

One of the reasons I am hesitant on getting a V2 is the weight. I watched some of the last V2 episodes you did in Cali and it was a 449lb stock bike! You got it to 403lbs but that takes some serious money to get there. Ben's bike is already down to 430lbs which is respectable but still not a light bike at all. I want to bring my CBR over and weigh it sometime!

You do realize most liter bikes are 450lbs or more...so the V2 is pretty light all things considered

Fantastic bike! It sounds like the Arrow is louder than the Akra! Considering the price difference, Arrow is like half the price of the Akra, which one sounds loudest and which one would you say sounds better overall? I mean what are the advantages of buying an Akra?
